The Castle Vault - A chronological deep-dive of Disney, PIXAR, and Marvel films/shows powered by Disney Plus

Welcome to the 110th episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed Disney Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we go grunge with ... Captain Marvel!

In this episode, we travel back to the 1990s and meet a character we've been waiting for - Carol Danvers as Captain Marvel! Sure, it's an origin story that takes place before most of the MCU, but Captain Marvel is an important character to the MCU, and will be playing an important role in the next film, Avengers: Endgame. If anything, it's a fun film as the penultimate movie before the grand finale. But where will it land on The Hierarchy? We also have all of our fun segments that we do weekly, including a brand new game and several new segments as well!

All this and more in Episode 110 of the Castle Vault!

Welcome to the 109th episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed Disney Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we lighten the mood a bit with ... Ant-Man and the Wasp!

In this episode, we return back to the MCU after a week away from it, but it's not quite the same MCU that we last left it. With Ant-Man and the Wasp, the sequel to the better-than-expected Ant-Man film, it definitely lightens the mood and brings smiles to faces, which is a sharp contrast to the last MCU film we watched. While it's funny and clever, it was an uphill climb for it to compare to the first film. But where will it land on The Hierarchy? We also have all of our fun segments that we do weekly, including a brand new game and several new segments as well!

Welcome to the 107th episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed Disney Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we finally snap with ... Avengers: Infinity War!

In this episode, we are joined by the one, the only - Atari Alex! Alex joins the show to talk about the movie that changes everything in the MCU that we knew of, with one simple snap of of the fingers from the Mad Titan himself, Thanos! This movie is undeniably a Thanos movie, and after so many films in the MCU, it's hard to imagine that they would all lead up to this event. But, it was inevitable. Does that mean they stuck the landing though? And where will it land on The Hierarchy? We also have all of our fun segments that we do weekly, including a brand new game and several new segments as well!

Welcome to the 106th episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed Disney Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we visit Wakanda with ... Black Panther!

In this episode, we discuss the first "solo" film, which is technically an origin story film as well, for Black Panther! We go to Wakanda and learn all about the incredible city and culture, and learn just how much Vibranium has impacted their entire society. Not only do we get more time with T'Challa, but with an incredible cast of side characters and villains, it's clear from the start that Black Panther is a special film. Oh, and that soundtrack SLAPS. But where will it land on The Hierarchy? We also have all of our fun segments that we do weekly, including a brand new game and several new segments as well!

Welcome to the 105th episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed Disney Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we get funky with ... Thor: Ragnarok!

In this episode, we discuss the third film in the Thor series, but easily the most unique of the three, Thor: Ragnarok! With Taika Waititi at the helm, and Disney/Marvel seemingly allowing him to have as much fun as he wants, this Thor film is unlike any movie we've seen in the MCU thus far. With so many things to like about this movie, it's hard to image it being a God of Thunder film. But where will it land on The Hierarchy? We also have all of our fun segments that we do weekly, including a brand new game and several new segments as well!

Welcome to the 104th episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed Disney Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we swing in to ... Spider-Man: Homecoming!

In this episode, we discuss the first full-length look at Tom Holland's Spider-Man, with the first movie in the series, Homecoming! We saw Spidey swing into the MCU with Civil War, but this is our first chance to get to know the newest addition to the team. While it's a smaller-scale story than we are used to for MCU films, it's still got a ton of heart and character. But where will it land on The Hierarchy? We also have all of our fun segments that we do weekly, including a brand new game and several new segments as well!

Welcome to the 102nd episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed Disney Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we get strange with ... Doctor Strange!

In this episode, we discuss the origin story of Doctor Stephen Strange, who might be one of the most powerful heroes in the entire MCU! This film is mind-bending and incredibly wild, but it definitely has some low parts. As an origin story, however, it's better than it has any right to be. But where will it land on The Hierarchy?
