The Castle Vault - A chronological deep-dive of Disney, PIXAR, and Marvel films/shows powered by Disney Plus

Welcome to the 90th episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed Disney Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we visit Asgard in ... Thor!

In this episode, we watch the fourth movie in the MCU, and the introduction to a new superhero, Thor! Sure, the movie has a TON of settings, characters, and lore to set up in a 2-hour window, but for an intro to a main character, it's a solid outing for the God of Thunder. If anything, it set the stage for what Thor and Loki will contribute to the overall MCU. But where will it land on The Hierarchy? We also have all of our fun segments that we do weekly, including a brand new game and several new segments as well!

All this and more in Episode 90 of the Castle Vault!

In this episode, we watch the third movie in the MCU, and the continuation of the Iron Man storyline, with Iron Man 2! Sure, it introduces a couple of new characters that will help shape the overall MCU, and it is a fun, exciting film to watch. There is one character, however, that just steals the show. But where will it land on The Hierarchy? We also have all of our fun segments that we do weekly, including a brand new game and several new segments as well!

Welcome to the 88th episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed Disney Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we have to travel outside of Disney Plus to watch ... The Incredible Hulk!

In this episode, we watch the second movie in the MCU, and one that isn't even on the streaming service, The Incredible Hulk! Sure, it released in the same year as Iron Man, but this movie isn't even in the same league as the movie that started it all. With it being a weird hybrid of a sequel/stand-alone film, and not really nailing the characters, it's a tough watch that didn't age very well. But where will it land on The Hierarchy? We also have all of our fun segments that we do weekly, including a brand new game and several new segments as well!

Welcome to the 87th episode of The Castle Vault! In this week's journey exploring the famed Disney Vault through the Disney Plus streaming service, we visit the Marvel Cinematic Universe with their first entry ... Iron Man!

In this episode, we finally begin the MCU part of The Castle Vault, with the movie that started it all, Iron Man! Despite being released in 2008, it still holds up incredibly well, and it is very obvious why the rest of the MCU has been so successful. But where will it land on The Hierarchy? We also have all of our fun segments that we do weekly, including a brand new game and several new segments as well!
