The Casual Hour

This Week on The Casual Hour…

With our category episodes complete, all that’s left is to share our favorite games of the year, count up the points and see what comes out on top. It’s all been leading up to this as we wave goodbye to 2020 (and kick its ass out the door) on this GOTY edition of The Casual Hour!

This Week on The Casual Hour…

Part two of three Casual Hour GOTY podcasts sees the crew get into some fiery (and occasionally tearful) debates in our categories, including Best Style and Best Moment. We also share the games that helped us get through this hell of a year and look forward to the games we’re most excited about for 2021. Make sure to check out part three for our definitive games of 2020.

This Week on The Casual Hour…

It’s time for The Casual Hour’s 2020 GOTY episodes! In part one, Johnny, Bobby and Chase share their picks the games that surprised us most, as well as the ones that disappointed. We also talk about our favorite early access titles and the games we’re most excited to get off our backlogs in 2021.

This Week on The Casual Hour…

As in Cyberpunk 2077, everyone at The Casual Hour is asking “Where’s Johnny?” Unfortunately, our third chair is sitting this one out, so Bobby and Chase pick up the slack and give our early (and buggy) Cyberpunk impressions. Chase is also going ga-ga over Monster Sanctuary, Bobby is struggling with the PS5’s UI and we attempt to cover some of the news at the Game Awards that was happening as we recorded! All that and more on this edition of The Casual Hour.

This Week on The Casual Hour…

It’s cram time on The Casual Hour and everyone’s trying to get things finished for GOTY. Chase is hacking away at Kentucky Route Zero, Bobby is testing out Amazon Luna and Johnny is crashing with Call of Duty. Plus, we go over the games of December. Maybe Cyberpunk will actually release this month! All that and more on this edition of The Casual Hour!

The next generation of gaming is here…and we haven’t played any of it. Instead, we’ve been playing a lot of new games. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Yakuza: Like A Dragon, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered and Seven Knights: Time Wanderer. Oh, and a little game called Destiny 2. Maybe you’ve heard about it.
