The Casual Hour

This Week on The Casual Hour…

We catch up on the games we’ve been playing for the last couple of weeks. Chase has poisoned the minds of Bobby and Johnny, getting them to play Genshin Impact. And they…like it? Meanwhile, Chase has beaten Hades, Bobby is going wire-free on the Oculus Quest 2, and Johnny continues to dig into the secrets of Spelunky 2 with his son. All that and the latest game news on this edition of The Casual Hour!

This Week on The Casual Hour…

This week on The Casual Hour, Chase brings another obscure relic of gaming's past to the show as he talks about Mattel's less than stellar peripheral, the Power Glove. Like they say in The Wizard "It's so bad." But it does make for an interesting story on this edition of The Casual Hour.

This Week on The Casual Hour…

Bobby and Chase hold down the fort and talk about a few new games on this week’s episode. Chase is pretty disappointed by Super Mario 35 and Nexomon: Extinction while Bobby gushes about Baldur’s Gate III and Star Wars: Squadrons. Then we balance things out with news about Smash, Minecraft, Need For Speed and Assassin’s Creed. All that and more on this edition of The Casual Hour.

This Week on The Casual Hour…

Weebtember is sadly coming to an end, but we’re going out with a bang. Chase has been playing the double whammy of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and Genshin Impact, much to his co-hosts dismay. Fortunately, he’s also been playing Hades, which we can all agree on. We’ve also got talk on Spelunky 2, Deep Rock Galactic and Mario 3D All-Stars as well as a look at the rather thin lineup of October games on the horizon. All that on this edition of The Casual Hour!

This Week on The Casual Hour…

On this Deep Dive, we talk about why launch lineups are the most important thing in gaming (they're not) and how they determine the long-term success of new consoles (they don't). We each bring a generation to the table to discuss and why we feel it was the best. Console launches are an exciting time, but sometimes that excitement carries the weight of disappointing games. All that and more on this special Deep Dive with The Casual Hour!
