Joel Montague, ex-presenter on theCat107.9FM, returns to the station on the day we broadcast the very first "Songs from the Shows". on DAB.

He discusses his iconic role as King George III in Hamilton at the Victoria Palace, London; he tells us about how he and his wife Carrie Hope-Fletcher eloped to Gretna Green earlier in 2023, and about his earlier time treading the boards in Cheshire as part of the Curtain Call Productions team. He speaks warmly about the amateur theatre groups in Cheshire (CAMS & Acton Dramatics) and we learn about the other shows he has been in on his way to play King George III in Hamilton. Waitress, Funny Girl, Guys & Dolls and Shrek are all mentioned - and he shares with us what it was like, for an actor, during Covid.

It is a funny and tongue-in-cheek interview - especially when Joel also tells us about his time as a presenter on theCat107.9FM and the state of theCat's music library at the time!
