  • A Catch Conversation with Rwandan genocide survivor Enric Sifa
This month, the nation of Rwanda remembered the genocide that occurred 21 years April. It was a horrible atrocity that ravaged this tiny African nation. Yet, in the aftermath, stories of hope began to emerge.
Enric Sifa was one of those stories. Orphaned in Rwanda, Enric survived years on the streets of Kigali as a young child until he was found and sponsored by an organization called Africa New Life. Being one who enjoyed music, he was then gifted with a guitar. Only knowing a few chords, Enric wrote a song and entered a nationwide competition.
    He won.
Now Enric is married and finishing up his college degree. He travels around singing songs and talking to people about his story.

We had the pleasure of having Enric on our show previously. We invite you to listen in on that conversation here..

  • Play Ball!!! A Conversation with the author of Sermon on the Mound
Get your crackerjacks, peanuts, popcorn and soda pop for this episode of The Catch on BlogTalkRadio...
There is God and baseball.everything else is sports and religion, says Michael O'Connor, who came to know Christ as a result of Bill Buckner's famous error in the 1986 World Series. The game of baseball may seem an unlikely parallel to God's working in a heart and life-but for Michael O'Connor it was and is. With the perfect blend of wry humor and baseball anecdotes, the book entertains as it teaches valuable lessons about the Christian life, God's will, and much more.
Listen in on this fun conversation with Michal O'Conner, author of Sermon on the Mound: Finding God at the Heart of the game.

  • A Catch Conversation: A Call to Prayer for the Middle East
I received a prayer request from Doug Stevens, former Executive Director of The Leadership Connection, and now interim pastor for transitioning churches, outlining the dire situation in the Middle East and asking for prayer for the victims and those who are in danger from the advances of ISIS. You almost hesitate to open the morning newspaper these days for the thought of some new atrocity meeting you on the front page. In light of Doug Stevens' timely request for prayer and his first- and second-hand knowledge of the situation in the Middle East, I have asked him to be our guest on BlogTalkRadio tonight at 6pm Pacific Daylight Time to talk about these and other related questions.
