Heidi Underwood, a passionate travel nurse anesthetist, unveils her incredible journey of balancing a demanding career with her love for music. Fueled by her desire for more freedom and family time, Heidi embarked on a transformative path from a traditional hospital role to becoming a traveling nurse. Alongside her travels, she embraced the cello, integrating innovative mental practice techniques to refine her skills. Her story is a testament to the power of perseverance, showing that anyone can pursue their musical passions, no matter how hectic life might seem.
Heidi travels about 70% of the time, and what that means is that she is without a cello. Through coaching, she has discovered the power of mental practice, a technique where your brain doesn't realize whether a cello is there or not! Heidi consistently makes progress, even though the majority of her practice is actually without the cello.
She says that her practice sessions (whether from the road or at home) have been such a source of joy, a way to change her emotions which allows her to be her most creative self.
What that means for you is that you can be supported by music even if you don't have an instrument, or have ever played a single note in your life. That is exactly what the 10X Your Creativity Challenge is all about!

The analogy of "nailing apples on the tree" is one that caught my attention recently when I was in a conversation with a fellow mom / entrepreneur. Paul David Tripp is the pastor, speaker and parenting educator who came up with this analogy in the first place... and it's a good one!
In this episode you will hear how you might be forcing the fruit to be on the tree by being anxious about seeing results in your life. Just know that there when the fruit is connected to the deep roots you are growing, you will be able to grow so much faster than what you expected, because you are rooted in strength.
Don't resist the valleys of life. Because the valley is usually where the fruit is found!
A couple of topics you will discover in this episode:
