When there is no clear sense of truth, life can feel like steering a boat through the fog: no direction, no clarity, totally disorienting. Voices in today’s world try to draw believers away from the truth. In “Light of Truth,” Pastor Dave Gustavsen reminds us of the way we were created to live – rooted in the truth of Christ and attuned to his Spirit.

In “The Story of a Savior Born,” Pastor Ted Voltmer tells the story of that night in Bethlehem when our Savior was born. By looking at that night through the eyes of Mary, Joseph, Caesar and the Angels, we see how each of our stories fit into the bigger story that God continues to write. Knowing this leads us to worship Him and receive His peace.

In “The Story of a Faithful Girl,” Pastor Dave Gustavsen tells the story of Mary, an ordinary person, chosen by God’s grace to give birth to Jesus. She was scared to death of the whole thing, but chose to submit herself to God’s plan, and the world has never been the same. God has plans for our lives too. The question is: will we resist His plans, or will we submit to them, as Mary did, growing closer to Christ and bringing glory to God?
