The Chaplin Sessions

This week I speak about the great Led Zeppelin and the beast of a song: When the Levee Breaks. I learn't a bit about this track when doing my research for this episode. Its history spanning almost a hundred years.

Turning to the personal... What happens when our levee breaks? and is there a way to prevent our levee from bursting? Speaking from experience, I explore the possibility that there may be a better way.

This is a new podcast from a Brummie in Cornwall with a dream to bring a little light in this online space.

We've got this.

Chaplin.

A chill spot, a place to check in and put the bags of life down. Candid conversations on life, philosophy, mental health, and whatever strikes a chord this week.

Who the f!#k is Chaplin?

This isn't a slick podcast production. This is just a microphone turned on live on the floor of our combined print studio and coffee house in Bude, North Cornwall. I’m Chaplin, and this first session is just a raw check-in. It’s an open door to put down the heavy bags of life you’ve been carrying around all week and just breathe for twenty minutes.

No fake gurus, no structured scripts, and no polished lectures. Just the unfiltered reality of what it actually looks like to survive a complete personal crisis, battle through Complex PTSD, anchor down into three months of hard-fought sobriety, and manually rebuild a life from the floorboards up entirely on your own terms.

A little introduction to The Chaplin Sessions. Fresh, new & covered in rust... Every journey starts somewhere. This is the start of my humble podcasting journey.

Thanks for listening,

Chaplin.
