Larry Jorgensen: Larry Jorgensen is an author, freelance writer and media consultant living in central Louisiana. His most recent book, which was released in July, is a true story of two amazing rescues from a Great Lakes shipwreck in 1925. The ship had a cargo of 240 new cars. First the crew of 23 men were rescued, after nearly freezing to death. Later there was an almost unbelievable rescue of the cars. The book reveals all the fascinating details, never before known. Another recent book is called "The Coca-Cola Trail", which tells about people and places in the history of Coca-Cola. It's about places with Coca-Cola history which the reader can visit today, and the history of each site is revealed. The success of the book resulted in the writing of a sequel called "Return to The Coca-Cola Trail". Another book, written several years ago, is about a once popular Louisiana town, which had become almost a complete ghost town. That book too may have a sequel, as it was just recently revealed that new plans are underway for a new project in that town. The name of the shipwreck book is "Shipwrecked and Rescued" and the website is: www.shipwreckedandrescued.com the Coca-Cola books can be found at www.thecocacolatrail.com
