So every I had a caller had a caller that said, here's what we should do, and I think that might be right. What president Trump should have come out and done was he should have said, ladies and gentlemen, we're sick and tired of the Ayatollah's treatment of the LGBTQ community. So we're gonna bomb Iran starting tomorrow, and everybody would've been, oh, I love this man. He is standing up for the LGBTQ community. We love him.

He's so wonderful, and everybody would have been on his side. Everybody would have done it. Oh, he's so he's pro LGBTQ. There you go. But now we got even people like Marjorie Taylor Greene, you know, losing her mind over this thing.

And I'm kinda wondering about the future of MAGA. I really am. If these people are so willing to turn their backs on Donald Trump so quickly And not only that, some of this blatant antisemitism that's going on with a lot of these folks is pretty concerning as well. So president Trump goes over there, and he bombs Iran. He wasn't the first person to say something about Iran's nuclear program.

He wasn't the first. Many have said it. Wanna hear? Here we go. The United States is clear.

We will not allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon. If I'm the president, we will attack Iran. Whatever stage of development they might be in their nuclear weapons program in the next ten years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them. That's a terrible thing to say, but those people who run Iran need to understand that. Make no mistake.

A nuclear armed Iran is not a challenge that can be contained. It would threaten the elimination of Israel, the security of Gulf nations, and the stability of the global economy. It risks triggering a nuclear arms race in the region and the unraveling of the Non Proliferation Treaty. That's why a coalition of countries is holding the Iranian government accountable. And that's why The United States will do what we must to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

Sheila and I, we went out to brunch, went to select restaurant, had a good time, did some grilling yesterday, but a funny thing happened. Just one of those little funny things that happen in life. Last weekend, our surround sound system went out. It no. I let me rephrase that.

Our soundbar went out on our television, so I had to get a new one, because those little tiny television speakers, they just don't cut it. And we bought a surround sound system. Now it's not one of the big fancy schmancy. This thing wasn't wildly expensive or anything, and I've never had a surround sound system before. So I thought it was pretty interesting.

So it came with the soundbar, it came with the subwoofer, and it came with some surround sound speakers, as well. And I thought it was really cool because when I'm watching golf, you know, I got the surround sound speaker to my right and she lives right over on the other side of the room. When they hit the ball, that sound comes out of the surround sound speaker, and it sounds like it's it's right next to you. And they also put the birds and the background noise in the surround sound speakers. It's that 5.1.

It's really cool. And, again, I'm like a kid in a candy store because I've never had a surround sound before. Well, this weekend, I was watching golf. I was watching the, the traveler's championship, which, by the way, I was really rooting for Tommy Fleetwood on that thing. But, but they were playing the birds out of the surround side.

And Arty was his art. He goes over to the bookcase where the speaker is, and he starts sniffing around because he thinks there's a bird in the bookcase. He can hear it. He can hear the bird, but he can't smell it. And he can't figure out what's going on, so he starts barking at the bookcase.

And I thought it was I thought it was pretty funny. But then something kind of I was like, well, what if there wait a minute. Hold on. What if there is something in that bookcase? So I I kinda went over there and looked at it a little bit, and that satisfied him enough, and he didn't bark at it anymore.

But the poor guy was so doggone confused. It was just it was absolutely adorable. I just, think the world of that guy. Alright. Well, Los Angeles Police Department.

Well, Los Angeles, period. We know that they are a liberal hellhole. That's why they're called hell a. They did something this weekend that absolutely boggled my mind. It was the most ridiculous thing that they posted online.

Now they deleted that post, but they put up another post. Now I'm gonna give you this is the post that they put out after they deleted the first post. And it reads, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is closely monitoring the situation overseas alongside our local state and federal partners. At this moment, there are no known threats to Los Angeles County. However, out of an abundance of caution, we are increasing patrol checks at places of worship and other sensitive locations throughout our city.

The safety and security of our communities remains our top priority. We will develop we will continue to to assess and respond to any developments as they arise. Is she if you see something, say something. Now that is a perfectly reasonable post. That sounds like something a responsible sheriff's office would put out.

But what was the post they put out before this one? The one that they deleted, what did that post read? Oh, you're gonna love this. This is from the LA County Sheriff's Department. Now, again, they deleted this, but, ta da, the Internet is forever.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of The United States Of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Oh, beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain, for purple mountain majesties above the fruit America is back. Yes, sir. America is back, thanks to the leadership of president Donald Trump, who who was having absolutely no shenanigans today from either Israel or Iran. I mean, president Trump saying, basically telling Iran or Israel, listen.

The ceasefire is the ceasefire. And if you go and you start breaking the ceasefire, you're gonna do it without us. We're we're not gonna be the ones that are gonna bail you out of this. We went over there. We did what we needed to do.

We destroyed Iran's nuclear capabilities. That's what we did, and that should have been our only involvement, and and hopefully it will be. Now I tried to explain this last hour, and I know that some of the, less intellectual, folks over there on the text line, didn't understand this. A couple of them, zero zero five, they couldn't understand my reasoning here. So you got basically three schools here.

You got number one. You got the folks on the left that say none no involvement whatsoever. Let's hands off of Iran. Let's not even talk about it. Let's not get involved.

Let's not offer support. Let's not do any of that. Just just leave it alone. It's not ours. Then you got on the opposite side, the people like Lindsey Graham that are going, no.

Let's run-in full steam. Let's get boots on the ground, and let's get in there and do regime change again, and let's get into another never ending war over in Iran. And then you had the folks kind of in the middle where I and a lot of you align with president Trump. And that was like, do what we need to do and get out. We don't need to be doing regime change.

We don't need to be sending boots on the ground. We don't need ground troops or anything like that. Go in. Destroy what we need to destroy to keep Iran from getting a nuclear program. Come home, and let that be it.

A lot of people are like, I don't understand your reasoning, Charlie. Well, I again, you can lead someone to knowledge, but you can't make them think. But that's where we are, and and and we are not alone. Those of us that felt that way, that aligned with president Trump on this thing, we are not alone. In fact, take a listen to this from Harry Enten over there on CNN.

Yeah. You know, I think there's this idea. Okay. Maybe the MAGA base wouldn't necessarily like this. Look.

This is Donald Trump's Republican party. That's what I think is so important to note. GOP on The US airstrikes in Iran, 76% in the average of the two polls approved compared to just 18% who disapproved. Now I will note that is a bit higher than Donald Trump's disapproval rating within the Republican party. But overall, Republicans are with Donald Trump on this.

Tucker Carlson be darned. The bottom line is he does not speak for the majority of the Republican base. The majority of the Republican base is with Donald Trump. And we can add more people than just Tucker Carlson to that. We can add Marjorie Taylor Greene.

We can add, Steve Bannon. We can add all of these people that were just no intervention whatsoever. They did not and I I'm still waiting for an apology. Oh, boy. Am I waiting for an apology?

But has it come? Well, last night, Tucker gave a what was it? I think it was two word response. I think it was a two word response, maybe three. Let me yeah.

He just said he tweeted out, thank god, after the ceasefire was announced. Thank god. Bad hombre says, you misspelled I was wrong. Il Donato Trumpo said, and dot dot dot. Graham Allen said, we are stronger united, man.

Bob, what's your opinion this afternoon? Yeah. Hey, Charlie. Thanks for taking my call. I just wanted to say upfront, I voted for Trump all three times he won.

The 2020 was obviously stolen. Right. The, the last one of the last callers, he was talking about us, having a false sense of security, after bombing Iran that we he what if we didn't hit him with a one two knockout punch? Well, we we aren't gonna cease our our intelligence operations after this bombing. We're still gonna keep our our eye on the situation.

I I don't I think that's just, an an invalid objection to it. Yeah. They didn't just come home and go, well, we did it, then let's move on to the next thing. Right. This is ongoing.

You're right about that. Yes. But, I mean, I just I don't understand, some of this this this ideology that's going under where people think that Iran's gonna come that Iran was just talking about nuking Israel. I mean, they were they were a world threat. And I'll tell you this, Bob.

I don't think that they were planning on making nuclear bombs to use themselves. I think they're going to sell them to terrorist organizations. Yeah. Yeah. I I I think that was a a distinct possibility as well.

Well, first of all, I I think people are are not asking the right questions. Why would you have to build a nuclear facility 200 feet down in the middle of a mountain for peaceful means? Yeah. That just doesn't make any sense. For nuclear energy.

That yeah. Exactly. When you you have one of the largest oil reserves in the world Yeah. That energy should be very cheap for you anyway. So that doesn't make any sense that it was for peaceful means.

We've already established that they spent more center fusions and more uranium than they needed for peaceful means. So why are you stockpiling it? You know? That just doesn't make any sense that people are are also up in arms about this. And I find it I find it hilarious too that they're up in arms that we we did this.

Okay? Whether we did it to help Israel or not, we did it for ourselves and the rest of the world. The Middle East has gotta come to the realization, and Trump has tried to do this now on two occasions. His first trip to the Middle East, he told them, you guys gotta stop policing yourselves. And I think Saudi Arabia, I think Qatar, The UAE, I think they're all starting to realize that Iran is a problem in The Middle East.

Yeah. If you go under the Shah's reign for forty years, they only had border squabbles. They weren't looking to in infiltrate in Syria. They weren't looking to be with the Houthis. They wasn't looking to be part of a Hezbollah.

But since the Shah has been in power, they have asserted, their flat law to to encompass the whole Middle East, and they're not just a threat to Israel. They're a threat to Saudi Arabia. Do you think if they could take out that kingdom and take it over, they wouldn't? Oh, yeah. Iraq for how many years back and forth?

Right. Okay? They're they're they're in Syria. So people gotta start smartening up. That region has been under siege since the beginning of the Bible, and it will be to the end.

And welcome to the program on your Monday afternoon. And ladies and gentlemen, it will it is a hot one out there today. This genius decided, today because I put it off all weekend. I decided today that I was gonna cut the grass. Yeah.

Yeah. This afternoon. Well, it was almost the afternoon. I decided I was gonna cut the grass. It was hot out there.

Gonna be even hotter in the next couple of days. So, you guys just be aware of that. Alright. What have we got now? I have no idea.

Let me just see. I I think I can get the live stream up right now, and hopefully, that will work. For some reason, my, my, monitor, freezes up on me from time to time, but but now we are we are up there and running. That is always good. Well, this weekend, president Trump did what he we all knew he was going to do eventually.

He said that he was gonna give Iran. Well, he said he's gonna make a decision on any sort of, an attack on Iran within two weeks. And it was well within two weeks that president Trump decided to send these b two bombers that, by the way, flew for thirty five hours straight. Thirty five hours straight. Yes.

They've got bathrooms in them and all all of that, but they threw flew for thirty five hours straight. They refueled midair, did the bombing run, destroyed, from what we can gather, Iran's nuclear capabilities, and then they returned home safely. Now here's here's what what happened here. This was unbelievable. It was absolutely amazing.

You know what the most amazing part of, about it was? No leaks. No leaks from the state department. No leaks from the Department of Defense. No leaks from the White House.

No leaks from Congress. You wanna know why? President Trump didn't tell him. The Democrats are out there whining, Rydell. President Trump should have told us.

He should have told us what he was going to do. No. He didn't he didn't tell you what he was gonna do because you know what you would have done. You would have run run to the New York Times under condition of anonymity. You would have run to the Wall Street Journal.

You would have run to the Associated Press, and you would have done what General Milley said he would have done with China, and that was you would have warned you would have warned Iran that this was coming. This was done under such amazing secrecy. It really I mean, I'm I'm shocked. I really am that nobody was given prior warning to all of this. That's pretty darn cool.

But see what you can do when you don't tell Democrats things? Yeah. Because we know what they would have done exactly what I just said. Well, today, Iran decided that they had to put on some show of, fake machismo and fire six ballistic missiles at our base there near near, Qatar. Well, he said he's gonna make a decision on any sort of, an attack on Iran within two weeks. And it was well within two weeks that president Trump decided to send these b two bombers that, by the way, flew for thirty five hours straight. Thirty five hours straight.

Yes. They've got bathrooms in them and all all of that, but they threw flew for thirty five hours straight. They refueled midair, did the bombing run, destroyed, from what we can gather, Iran's nuclear capabilities, and then they returned home safely. Now here's here's what what happened here. This was unbelievable.

It was absolutely amazing. You know what the most amazing part about it was? No leaks. No leaks from the state department. No leaks from the Department of Defense.

Don't know what's gonna come out of this today. No idea. Now the president tweeted earlier today just, two words, unconditional surrender to the folks in Iran. And this is I'm I'm be honest with you, folks. This is one of those issues where I'm going, Because I see both sides of this issue.

I I really do. Now do we need Iran to have nuclear weapons? Well, no. That would be a bad thing. On the other hand, do we wanna commit US troops to going in and fighting a war, that was ultimately I mean, Israel was was the one that took these preemptive strikes against Iran.

So is this our fight? Just the same way as we look at what's going on with Russia and Ukraine, little bit different situation there. But how do you guys feel about this? That's what I would like to know, because I remember. And any of you folks out there with any gray hair on you whatsoever, you remember there was a time where the sentiment in this country was all about bombing Iran.

Remember this from Vince Vance and the Valiance. And we all know after the the, you know, the the Iranian hostage crisis and all that, everybody was talking about, doing away and and basically just wiping the floor with with Iran. But now people are kinda like, I don't know if we wanna be getting in there and doing all of this. So I would like to know what you guys think. Should we be getting involved in Iran, or should we alright.

So there's a couple of things here. Number one, should we get involved directly in attacking Iran? Should we let Israel handle it on their own completely, or should we support Israel in their attacks on Iran? The what now you gotta admit, what Israel did with this thing was absolutely phenomenal. They had, from what we're hearing, they had planes in Iran ready to take off.

They smuggled fighter jets into Iran. That's amazing. We all they had assets inside Iran. They had drones. They had fighter planes.

When they gave the go, they went. And this is something that had from what I was hearing, had been hearing is, this is something that had been planned for a couple of decades now, getting ready for this particular moment. Let's see. Charlie, nukes in two weeks and death to America has been the narrative for forty five years. So, so now we're gonna trigger them?
