On the first hour, Charlie talks about the Monster contract Manny Machado received to play in San Diego. He talks about how the padres will fare during Machado’s 10 year deal. He also talks about the Texans Free Agent plans as well.

For the second hour, Charlie talks about the top five teams in the west and if they are equally as good as the top five teams in the east, he also continues to talk about Houston Texans Free agency and Draft needs as well.

Nick Sharara is pulling double duty today filling in for Charlie before he moves over to the Suspects. After telling the story about how he almost missed work today, he addresses the Harden hate and what Steph said about him while his mic was hot. Eric Pincus joins Nick to discuss the NBA and the salary cap. At the end of the hour, Nick and Jose talk about the Padres’ new deal with Manny Machado.

Nick starts off the second hour talking about Jadeveon Clowney and what the Texans need to do to keep him. Then, he talks about Adam Silver and how some are calling for him to be NFL commissioner. Raheel joins Nick to discuss the art of finessing. To close the show, Nick tells a story about Franci Neely and the altercation she started.

Cody Stoots is in for Charlie today and starts the hour talking about what the Texans should do with Jadeveon Clowney. He turns to Houston basketball, starting with expectations for the Rockets and then how the Cougars have exceeded any and all of them. Cody ends the hour with some bad news about the Astros.

The second hour starts with Cody discussing the NBA All-Star Game and the good and bad he saw in it. Then, he talks about what he wants to see in future All-Star games. He looks at Colin Kaepernick’s options after his settlement with the NFL. Joel Blank joins Cody to give his thoughts on the Warriors.

Charlie kicks things off talking about the 24-1 Houston Cougars and where they will fall in next week’s college basketball rankings after a win at Connecticut followed by a likely win this Sunday against struggling Tulane. After the break, Charlie dissects the bush league decision by Anthony Davis’ camp to leak his desire to be traded and how that negatively impacts Davis, the Pelicans, and the NBA. Charlie then weighs in on college basketball divisions, realistic seeding scenarios for the Cougars and the lack of competition in the AAC. The hour wraps with some Astros speculation and roster predictions.

Hour two starts with Charlie covering the MLB and the reluctance of some front offices to lock players into extremely long-term contracts and what that means for the future of the league and its players. Charlie jumps into some AAF discussion and how the AAF attempted to acquire Colin Kaepernick to boost its brand. Charlie spends the tail end of the hour trying his hand at a unique history lesson by comparing presidents to notable sports icons with the same names.

It’s the show’s first hour on this Valentine’s Day but Charlie is not feeling the love for the Rockets and their performance against the Timberwolves. Then, he turns to the Astros and their pitching options. He’s covering all of the bases today and discusses the NFL and Roger Goodell a bit before turning back to MLB free agency. At the end of the hour, Charlie talks more about the Rockets.

It’s a very slow sports day for Charlie and to start of the second hour talking about Gerrit Cole and Trevor Bauer’s arbitration cases. He lets some of the callers voice their opinions and gives his thoughts on what they have to say. He closes out the hour with talk of the Harlem Globetrotters and Cougar basketball.
