Charlie opens the hour discussing NBA playoff seeding and the Rocket’s chances at snagging home court advantage along with a quick dip into some college basketball. Charlie then visits the Anthony Davis, L.A. Lakers saga and breaks down transactions across the NBA. He spends wraps up the hour talking about Art Briles and college football recruitment across the nation.

Hour two begins with Charlie’s surprise at the success of teams like the Kings and Clippers in the Western Conference playoff hunt. The conversation turns to baseball as Charlie covers some news from around the MLB before pivoting to more NBA trade discussions including weighing in on the Anthony Davis situation. And finally Charlie is joined by long time friend and part-time enemy Ken Hoffman to discuss a myriad of things including the status of the Hoffman dog and Ken’s upcoming work on Culture Map.

Charlie is back today and can finally give his thoughts on the Super Bowl. But, he quickly moves on from what he deemed a snooze fest to the Rockets win over the Suns. Then, he explains why Ed Sheeran is to blame for his absence yesterday. He also discusses baseball news and talks a bit more about the Rockets.

Charlie starts the second hour with the breaking news about Antonio Brown and the headaches he has caused recently. He segues to the Texans and what free agency moves they could and should make. Then, he looks at Harden’s response to Kobe Bryant’s comments about him. At the end of the hour, Charlie talks about the NBA trade deadline coming up and the Rockets’ priorities.

Cody Stoots is in for Charlie today and, of course, the big topic of discussion is the not-so-big game. From Gurley’s suspicious absence throughout the game to Goff’s inability to perform to Edelman’s MVP performance, Cody covers the game from top to bottom.

The second hour of the show, with Cody Stoots filling in for Charlie, continues the Super Bowl conversations. Then, he talks about the early anticipation for baseball season to begin and the Astros’ possible roster moves. Jake Asman joins the show to discuss his time in Atlanta and what he witnessed in the city and at the game.

Charlie starts his first show of February with the news of the Astros signing Wade Miley. Then, he turns to the upcoming Rockets’ games after their embarrassing two days ago. And, of course, he talks about the Cougars win over Temple in the rematch. He discusses Julius Peppers’ retirement announcement and his status as a future Hall of Famer. He talks more about the Astros and the Miley acquisition. To close the hour, he brings up the Porzingis trade.

Charlie is on location at Prime Social for the day and he gives more of his thoughts on the Astros’ new pitcher and talks about Dallas Kuechel’s options. He continues his Astros conversation and looks at other contracts around the team. At the end of the show, Charlie discusses the Rockets upcoming game, the Cougars, and the Super Bowl.

It’s a slow sports news day but an important one for the Cougars. Charlie, who is on location at Twin Peaks, talks about their big rematch against Temple, their only loss of the season. He turns to the NBA All-Star game and the players that could be named. Then, he discusses the players in the running for a few NFL AP Awards. He goes on to talk about Deion Sanders and other athletes on his all-time loathe list.

At the start of the show, Charlie is joined by Ken Rodgers, the director of the ESPN 30 for 30 special “Deion’s Double Play”, to discuss the show and its premiere tonight. Then, he looks at the only NBA players to be 50% 3-point-shooters and what most of them have in common. At the end of the hour, he talks about the Cougars and their important rematch against Temple tonight.
