Charlie touches on Larry Fitzgerald announcing he is coming back for another year, as well as the Rockets upcoming bout with the New York Knicks. Charlie wraps up the hour discussing the responsibility of officials and what their margin of error should be in the wake of the controversial non-call in the Saints/Rams game.

Charlie gets the second hour of the show going with more baseball hall of fame talk, including bringing up a recent story about who A-Rod thinks should be let in. Charlie talks some basketball looking at upcoming matchups as well as potential Finals matchups. Then Charlie is joined by Culture Map writer and Houston journalism legend Ken Hoffman as the two discuss baseball, tennis, and whatever else two friends of over 30 years converse about.

In Hour 1, Charlie begins the show discussing the Rockets' loss to the 76ers on MLK Day. Charlie also goes over their recent transactions involving Carmelo Anthony and Kenneth Faried. With the upcoming Baseball Hall of Fame announcement, Charlie gives his thoughts on who he thinks should get in and why. The Astros also announced their own Hall of Fame today. Charlie wraps up the hour on some general NBA talk.

In Hour 2, Charlie goes over the impending Baseball Hall of Fame announcement and some Rockets talk after their loss to the 76ers on MLK Day. He is also joined by Richard Justice of MLB.com to talk about the Hall of Fame, who he thinks should make it, and some quick thoughts on the Astros' offseason moves and if there's anything big in the works for the team before Spring Training.

Charlie spends much of the first hour discussing the outcomes of the spectacular conference championship games from over the weekend. Charlie touches on the botched- pass interference call from the Rams/Saints matchup and then looked forward to the rematch of the 2001 Super Bowl matchup as the Rams prepare to face the Patriots in two weeks. Charlie wraps up the hour with some college basketball news and thoughts, as well as some quotes from players and coaches surrounding the non-call in the NFC championship.

Charlie starts the second hour by discussing what this Super bowl appearance means for the legacy of Tom Brady and how we think about him after 9 Super Bowl appearances, before pivoting into the strengths and weaknesses of the New England squad. Deshaun Watson is a pro-bowler as Tom Brady will not be able to make it do to being tied up in Atlanta, as Charlie gives his opinion on the merits of the NFL pro-bowl. Charlie touches on the no-call during the Rams/Saints game before turning to some Rockets talk.

Cody Stoots is in for Charlie today but he starts off the show just how Charlie would – with the Rockets. He talks about their loss to the Nets and Harden’s “drip”. Then, he discusses the college football transfer portal and all of the players who have gone through it. Jake Asman joins the show to talk about Kyler Murray and the decision he’s made.

Cody Stoots is filling in for Charlie and is joined by Jake Asman at the start of the second hour. They talk about most important draft needs for the Texans and other offseason moves that need to be made. Then, Cody discusses the Astros and what moves they are, and are not, making. At the end of the hour, Cody and Tyler give their opinions on “adulting” classes.
