On the first hour, Charlie talks about the new coaching hires in the NFL, with Freddy Kitchens being promoted to head coach in Cleveland, Charlie talks about if this was the right move for Baker Mayfield. He also gives a preview of tonight’s Rockets-Bucks matchup as well.

On the second hour, Charlie gives a little bit more in-depth preview of the Rockets-Bucks game and what it's going to take to neutralize Giannis, he also talks about the undefeated Coogs and their big matchup tonight vs Temple.

Charlie gets the first hour started with a recap of the evisceration of Alabama by Clemson and his takeaways from the national championship game before getting into the Rockets own victory over the Nuggets who lead the Western Conference. Charlie goes into further depth with the CFB championship and explores some of what next year’s CFB season could look like for a few teams. Charlie makes a case for James Harden to perhaps repeat MVP seasons based on his other worldly performance. To wrap up the hour Charlie assesses the quality of UT’s season and whether or not they are “back”.

Charlie starts the second hour of the show with some Texans talk, including an in depth look at Clowney and his impending contract negotiation that will occur over this offseason. Then, Clemson decimated the Crimson Tide last night in the national title and Charlie has some thoughts on both the game and the grammar of Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney. Plus, the Rockets are in full swing and making their way back to a high seed in the western conference, with the Bucks coming into town Wednesday for a meeting between two MVP-frontrunners.

The Texans are out of the playoffs and Charlie is ready to talk all about it on location at Twin Peaks. Charlie opens with a recap of the Texans/Colts playoff game on Saturday and what takeaways he has from the difficult home loss that ended the Texans season. Charlie then pivots into the surprising end to the Eagles/Bears game as he begins to summarize all of the other playoff games from the weekend as well as looking forward to the next round of the post-season. Charlie wraps up the hour with his most famous complaint, the lack of open roof action at NRG stadium.

Charlie gets the first hour rolling as he is accompanied by College Football Preview’s Phil Steele to discuss the upcoming National Championship Game. Charlie talks about the Rockets and their game tonight against the Nuggets, touching on the Denver roster and the way that Houston matches up with them. After playing some of the Bill O’Brien press conference from after the home playoff loss, Charlie assesses some of the Texan’s playoff woes and what the future may hold for the team.

Charlie gets the first hour of the show rolling by discussing the incredible last second victory the Rockets had over the Warriors last night as James Harden continues his monstrous tear through the NBA before getting into the upcoming Texans playoff game and where the Houston team stands against division opponents Indianapolis who they face Saturday. Charlie then looks at some of the NFL and NBA end of and midseason awards and which Houston players from across the franchises were nominated.

Charlie moves into the second hour discussing the Rockets win over the Warriors and their upcoming games, as well as the Spurs roasting of the Raptors as Kawhi came home to face his old team. Charlie goes on to discuss some baseball news as the Rays announce plans to tarp off more seats, and then pivots into a conversation regarding Astros free agency. Charlie wraps up the hour discussing NFL end of year awards as well as the upcoming wildcard playoff games

Charlie gets the first hour of the show going by addressing some of the upcoming NFL playoff matchups as well as Saturday’s matchup between the Colts/Texans. Charlie touches on the Reuben Foster situation before speaking to Colts beat writer Mike Chappell. Charlie is then joined by Houston Cougars basketball coach Kelvin Sampson to wrap up the hour.

Charlie touches on the Bengals choices for head coach candidates so far before getting into some of the Antonio Brown situation as the player has expressed dissatisfaction with his team. Then, Charlie gets into some Rockets talk and summarizes some of their fantastic turnaround before getting into the upcoming matchup between Houston and Golden State tonight.
