Charlie gets the first hour of the show going by recapping some of the Rockets/Warriors game and commenting on Carmelo Anthony leaving and what the Rockets can do with his contract. Then its beat writer day on the show, and Charlie is joined by Washington Post writer Kareem Copeland in anticipation of the Texans upcoming matchup with the Redskins. Charlie wraps up the hour with some news from around local sports as well as a recap of the Seattle/Green Bay TNF matchup.

The second hour of the show gets rolling with Charlie discussing the implications of a Texans win over the Redskins and what a 7 game winning streak means for a team that started 0-3\. Charlie also touches a little on Astros free agency rumors, and some of the Ed Oliver situation as well as his potential draft stock. With the middle of the season having passed some of the playoff picture is already shaking out and Charlie looks at what games teams on the bubble must win in the coming weeks. Charlie starts the first hour of the show discussing tonight’s Rockets/Warriors matchup and whether or not Draymond and Durant will patch things up by then. And then, the Texans are favored against the Redskins in Washington, how will a win here set the Texans up for the rest of the season? Charlie dives deep into the Texans today with sound bites from Bill O’ Brien and Deshaun Watson reflecting on their season. And finally Lebron passes Wilt Chamberlin on the all-time scoring list, what does this mean for his legacy and who else will James surpass before he hangs it all up?

In the second hour of the show, Charlie is joined by College Football Previews Phil Steele to discuss the many college football matchups coming up this week, plus can UH hold on to their division? Phil also discusses which teams need a win to become bowl eligible and who may do it this upcoming week.
