Charlie kicks off the first hour of the show discussing potential trades that may interest the Texans as the checkered flag comes down on the trade deadline today at 3pm. Then, some audio from Rockets head coach Mike D’Antoni about not abandoning their switching scheme after a bad defensive start to their season is analyzed by Charlie, and Klay Thompsons record breaking night. And to wrap things up, Charlie discusses the other NBA proceedings that have happened, and discusses whether Marwin Gonzales and Dallas Keuchel are on their way out.

The second hour of the show kicks off with Charlie further discussing NFL trade deadline news, including the incoming trade from Denver for Demaryius Thomas that may or may not go through! After looking at some other WR options for the Texans Charlie pivots to the story on Marwin Gonzales and the reports that the Astros will not even offer Gonzales a qualifying tender. Then, the Rockets play Portland without James Harden, and they’re favored! And finally the Eagles have traded for Golden Tate, and what that means for Carson Wentz and Philadelphia.

Charlie starts the first hour of the show with a look at the upcoming NFL trade deadline and what that may mean for the Texans if there are any moves to make on the roster. Also, the Rockets terrible start is discussed, and how last year’s momentum compares with this year’s unbelievable slump. And speaking of offseason, who will the Astros tender? Charlie addresses some of the ideas of legacy for teams like the Astros and Red Sox and takes some calls to hear what the listeners think about these concepts. To wrap things up, Charlie looks forward to the Texans matchup with the Broncos.
