It doesn't get much more raw than this week's installment of the Charlie Tonic Hour. Making the decision to wait until the day after the election to record this week's episode ended up making for a very hard show to record, but Ginny Tonic and Charlie did it. The emotion is raw, the tone is civil and the disappointment is palpable. Join us for a shorter, but no less deeply felt episode of the podcast.

This week Ginny and Charlie had an amazing time dancing to Ford Theater Reunion at MOTR Pub and trick or treating with kids and friends. They stop for a drink of the 2001 Limited Edition Knob Creek and then revisit a subject from Episode 9, The Female Orgasm, thanks to a new article by researchers at at Concordia University.

Ginny and Charlie had a jam-packed weekend with the opening of The Video Archive, The Proof Festival, a pop-up wedding that ended in a pub crawl, and the Slow Food Snail of Approval dinner. Once they finish those stories they explore what the concept of a Universal Basic Income would mean for society and then make two amazing cocktails featuring OYO and kombucha. 

For Episode #252, Ginny and Charlie are coming to you live from The Overlook Lodge here in Cincinnati! For this show, they debate if Halloween is in fact the sexiest holiday and run down some scary movies (and stories) with the audience. You won't want to miss this one!

The Cincinnati Food + Wine Classic was the main event of the weekend for Ginny and Charlie but they still found time to attend a Cheese Ball, cheer on Cincinnati bartenders at the Mahina Coco Challenge in Columbus (after an amazing dinner at Wolf's Ridge Brewing) and a Greater Cincinnati Restaurant Week dinner at Jeff Ruby's Precinct.

After a weekend packed with a one-of-a-kind wedding and a doner kabab tasting Ginny and Charlie sit down to discuss another big announcement. This time it is Charlie's turn to tell us about the killer new job he landed with Gorilla Cinema Presents. It is a life changing announcement you won't want to miss. They finish up with a song by Jagwar Ma and a beer from Bell's.

To make up for the show that was cut short by a fire last week, Ginny and Charlie bring you an extended discourse intercourse with the tales of their adventures from the last two weeks. Everything from bowling to Stranger Things to Scotch tastings to Hocking Hills to a cocktail competition is covered. Then they get down with some great vermouth, Dolin Vermouth de Chambéry to be exact. Mixing up three classic cocktails with their styles, they are quite pleased. Finally, they close with a newer song from a classic artist, Longest Days by John Mellencamp as Charlie rambles on about the meaning of Mellencamp and life.
