WHAT HAPPENED IN GOLF THIS PAST WEEK AND WHERE WE PLAYED
So much took place this last week. The four of us played in a tournament at Southern Highlands that was hosted by the Las Vegas Raiders Quarterback Derek Carr! We then dominated the Five Iron Golf league night and wrapped up the week with a VGN Tournament where Dan won the Gross and Sean W won the Net.

Sean took a few minutes from his busy schedule to hop on the show and talk about the Wildhorse tournament round.

The Saudi League announced its schedule and we chimed in on that bit of news. Cobra released a special edition of their latest driver. Man, it is SEXY!

CHASING ACES SHOT OF THE WEEK
Have to give this one to STAT GUY! Hitting the flag on No. 2 at SoHi and then almost draining it from the tee on the short par 4 NO. 5 was amazing!

LPGA professional Dana Fall, formerly Dana Finkelstein, joins the Chasing Daylight Podcast to talk about her journey from junior golf in Arizona to becoming one of the top collegiate players in the country at UNLV and eventually earning her way onto the LPGA Tour.

Dana takes us behind the scenes of professional golf, including the jump from college to the Cactus Tour and Symetra Tour, earning and regaining LPGA status, handling the pressure of professional golf, and learning how to compete against players she once watched growing up.

The conversation also dives deep into the technical side of her game. Dana discusses improving her putting, increasing swing speed with The Stack System, making major equipment-fitting changes, shortening and flattening her irons, adding hybrids and high-lofted fairway woods, and why golfers shouldn’t let ego dictate what clubs they put in the bag.

Dana also shares her experiences playing major championship golf in Europe, her favorite Las Vegas golf courses, and why attending an LPGA event in person gives golf fans an experience they may not expect.

• Dana’s introduction to golf growing up in Arizona
• Choosing golf over other sports
• Her recruiting journey and decision to attend UNLV
• Becoming one of the nation’s top collegiate golfers
• Transitioning from college to professional golf
• Cactus Tour and Symetra Tour success
• Adjusting to life and competition on the LPGA Tour
• Rebuilding her putting and increasing swing speed
• Club fitting, shorter irons, hybrids, and equipment optimization
• Why golf fans should attend an LPGA tournament in person
