#FunkItImWalking creates safe walking routes in and around Soweto. The routes incorporate activities and for the December walk, as part of 16 days of activism against violence on women and children, the #FunkItImWalking safe route will be from June 16 memorial Acre to Soweto Theatre.

Youth Alive is a youth organization in Soweto which was formed in 1960. It aims to inspire the youth to influence and inform the decisions of the youth to better their lives. The Scrummy Ice –Cream was founded in the beginning of January 2020 and started operating on the 17th of May 2020. We have employed 15 people and we are looking at employing more by the end of the year.

The business makes enough to pay salaries, cover their costs and still have enough to save. Couple, Thandeka and Nhlanhla Selepe were connected by their love for ice-cream and together they birthed The Scrummy Ice-cream to share their love , experience and sweet addiction with everyone else.
