Stand alongside your friends despite disappointments & opposition (vv. 9-16) because the Lord saves us (vv. 17-18) and we love one another (vv. 19-22).

The requirement, the readiness, the recipe, the reason, and the responsibility.

Remember the example you've seen (vv. 10-13). Continue in it faithfully (v. 14). Treasure God's word, which equips everyone for Christian maturity (vv. 15-17).

Avoid those who love the pleasures of sin. And their false teachers, whose lives and doctrine disqualify them.

God's good plans for us include seasons of difficult work, unpleasant work, risky work, and messy work. But, because of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, we can trust that God is working in all these seasons to produce good for us and glory for Him.

Cleanse yourself for Holy purposes. Flee youthful passions in the Christian community. Fight foolishness and evil with virtue.

Rejoice when you find it difficult to follow Jesus, knowing loving Him receives a great reward!

The light of Jesus shines...for those who trust in Him...into our fear, our conflicts, our loneliness, our heartache, and our regrets, giving us eternal joy with God in their place.
