When we are filled with the Spirit...We rejoice in Jesus. We believe God's Word. We celebrate what God has done for us. We proclaim His glory.

God comes to the humble. Giving salvation through his son. When we believe His word.

God keeps His word despite fears and advancing years. Despite doubts and difficulties. And replaces our reproach with joy.

You can know, with certainty, that God's word is true because...he has preserved his word...With incredible unity...Through reliable eyewitnesses...And historical trustworthiness. Now what will you do with it?

Today, Jesus is saving people through His church. But one day, Jesus will judge the wicked, Marry His bride, return to establish His kingdom, fully destroy evil, and make a new world in which he lives forever with his people.

The church is where we experience the grace of Jesus. It's where our adoption into God's family becomes tangible. It's where we are led & served by Jesus. It's where Jesus disciplines us. It's where Jesus fulfills his great commission. It's where we feast on the Gospel. It's where God's word is applied. It's where Jesus is!

The Book of Acts shows us the Church carrying out Jesus' mission and purpose. Through it we see that the Church exists to be the Jesus-sent, Spirit-filled, disciple-making community of God's people that transcends cultural divisions, endures persecution, and evangelizes the world.

Jesus is the center of the entire Bible and all of its pages point to Him and find their fulfillment in Him. Jesus is:

1. The better Adam

2. The Blessing to all nations that God promised to Abraham

3. The better Moses

4. The better Israel

5. The better tabernacle and temple

6. The better king, priest, prophet, and king

7. The I AM who comes in the flesh to redeem His people.

Even though a small remnant did return to the land, the Exile didn't really end. Israel remained dominated by foreign powers for hundreds of years after the Babylonian Captivity and never regained her kingdom with the glory of God present at the Temple and a son of David ruling in Jerusalem. But Jesus is both the beginning of the end of Exile and the King who finally brings in God's Kingdom.

Israel’s disobedience led to judgment and exile, but God was with them in it. In the same way, Jesus is with us today, as we live as exiles and strangers in the world.
