Thank God when people with whom we shared the Gospel receive genuine salvation by the Spirit's power. Praise God the Father that in them the full blessings of salvation are being revealed. Praise Jesus that he fills and rules all people whom He saves.

In Christ the chosen receive an inheritance from the Father by believing the Gospel

which is secured by the Spirit. You will receive the Triune God as your inheritance, along with all things He created.

Our redemption in Christ gives us complete forgiveness and unveils God’s end times redemption of all creation. In this way, our salvation points not only to our own personal redemption and glory, but to the glory yet to come in the redemption of all things from sin, death, and the curse.

God has chosen you for holiness and adopted you for sonship to display in you His glorious and gracious love. You were saved by God's sovereign and gracious loving power, which brought you into God's family. Praise the Lord!

Praise God our Father because He has given us His grace and His peace and every possible spiritual blessing! There is nothing else that God could have given us that He has withheld nor is there anything more of Himself to offer. We are His children, fully and completely!

As you move into a new stage of life, you need God's assurance. He provides some of the most important assurance we can ever have in 2 Peter. Through this book we learn that we can be assured of our salvation by growing in holiness (vv. 1:1-15) and that we can be assured of the truth of our faith by studying Scripture (vv. 1:16-21). But we also learn that we need to be wary of false teachers (ch. 3) and to wait patiently on our faithful God for His deliverance in His perfect timing (ch. 3).

After revival has come, it is very difficult to sustain. But it can be continually renewed if we continue to passionately reject sin, continually obey God's Word, and continue to experience His grace.

You inherited a godly legacy from those who went before you. You are therefore responsible to continue and pass on the legacy you inherited by rededicating yourself to joyful and thankful worship!

God honors willing service in undesirable places and He restores His people in every place where He has put them. So do not be discouraged! Instead, look to God for His blessing and serve faithfully wherever He has put you!

Remember who you were when God saved you and let that reality motivate you for everyday mission. You were once far away from God. BUT Jesus came and saved you and made you righteous before God. Therefore, keep on walking with Him and proclaiming the Gospel that saved you!
