The Chris and Amy Show on KMOX

As we look through some of the headlines Chris and Amy reflect on the great broadcast put on by FOX and MLB.

The week has been building up to it and to start the second hour we hear you crab about this crazy heat in the middle of June. Plus, Scott Jagow with a TIAM weekend preview and Mike Claiborne shares his experience at Rickwood Field last night.

After last night's win at Rickwood Field, Cardinals broadcaster Mike Claiborne joined us this morning to share what it meant to him be apart of the game at the historic stadium.

On Fridays we preview the weekend edition of Total Information A.M. with host Scott Jagow. Today Scott told us about the Mississippi River Festival's rich history ahead of it's comeback this weekend.

By all accounts last night's game at Rickwood Field was a first class experience to bring the focus to the Negro Leagues. Plus, Hancock and Kelley weigh in on some local election races and Olympian Jackie Joyner Kersee joins us.

One of the most decorated Olympians of all time was kind enough to join us just before an Olympic Day Celebration at Francis Olympic Field at WashU.

We get the thoughts of Hancock and Kelley on a couple of elections in Missouri including the gubernatorial and House (MO 1st Dist.) races.

We wrap up the show by getting all the important, newsworthy headlines for the day including: who will be and not be on the debate stage, Boeing troubles and climate activists.

As a part of our headline hour, Amy brings up a disturbing report that found the state of Missouri is breaking the law by housing mentally ill adults in nursing homes unnecessarily.

In our second hour we chat with Camille Brooks about the Blues at the Arch Festival that returns in August. Mark Sweeney discusses the Cardinals recent play and tonight's game at Rickwood Field. Of course we update you on results from our 618 Tournament Bracket.
