Keep your religion out of my life! Don’t you know about the separation of church and state?!
Anytime we as Christians bring up a stance that is counter cultural, and God forbid want to enact that into law, we’re usually asked why? And the moment we drop anything about Jesus, God or the Bible, our listeners have shut their ears.
How can unbelievers keep us Christians out of government so they can run wild with their worldly, wicked and demonic ideas about how to run a country? They can wield “separation of church and state” as a weapon, instead of in it’s proper context.
But what is the separation of Church and State? Is it really the neutral secular location of our country that no religion may dominate? A safe space for all cultures to gather together and sing kumbaya?
In today’s episode, we’ll see how separation of church and state is meant to give the 2 bodies, the church and the state, their correct and God-ordained jurisdiction, however, they both serve the same king; Jesus Christ. As Christians, we must boldly profess allegiance to the Lord of Lords and bring his word to the civil realm as a witness to our law makers.
We’re not hiding anything, and they’re not either, so it’s time to present our case for Godly laws. In the end, every knee will bow.
