"“For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the Lord: “I will put My law within them and write it on their heart; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34 They will not teach again, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord, “for I will forgive their wrongdoing, and their sin I will no longer remember.”"

This time of year, you'll be inundated with people arguing for and against Christmas. That's not what we're doing in this episode--if you want to see research I've done on the origin of Christmas, checkout the blog (www.psalmstogod.com/search/labels/Christmas). Today, we're talking about other aspects of the debate that are important to consider. If you get nothing else from this conversation remember this: It's not about being right or wrong, it's about worshipping God the way He wants to be worshipped.
** This episode also serves to correct a statement I'm sure I've made earlier on Jeremiah 10:1-5--while I still think we should be cautious and mindful of Christmas trees, upon closer reading I do agree that this verse is about idol statues and graven images. Many say this is a warning about Christmas trees, but I don't think the text actually supports that claim. I will do a post on the history of Christmas Trees specifically to address this when I have time. **
