What happened to our basic sense of justice? I'm talking about the letter the Diane Feinstein received alleging complaints about judge Kavanaugh. On Thursday, Senate Democrats disclosed that they had referred a complaint regarding President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Brett Kavanaugh, to the F.B.I. for investigation. The complaint came from a woman who accused Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct when they were both in high school, more than thirty years ago.

What if it were you, or your child or your spouse? You don't think it could happen? You bet it can. If it can happen to him it can happen to anyone. This is the problem when we ignore the basic principles of justice.

Is this fair? Is this how we want our political system to work? No wonder we can't get good people in politics. Who would want to subject themselves to this? What sane person would want to be involved in something like this?

SO I don't care if your liberal or socialist, whether you hate Trump you hate Kavanaugh you support abortion or whatever. Whatever your politics HOW CAN ANY GOOD COME OF THIS?

To my fellow Americans:

Not everyone will agree with the principles outlined in this book. That may be because things have been wrong for so long that people have come to accept it as normal. Some people might be reluctant to accept these principles since it defies the “normal.” Eventually, however, the truth always prevails.

AND IT'S AS TRUE A STATEMENT TODAY AS EVER.

We've come to accept gossip, slander, lies, name calling and out and out absurdities as normal but it's not normal at all.

Take a look at the news feed on Facebook or Twitter on any given day. What you will find? Gossip, slander, lies, name calling and out and out absurdities.

What would we do without Facebook? I don't know maybe bring a little sanity back to the world? Name one good thing Facebook has done for the world. Name anything good that's come out of social media in general. Where's all the environmentalists? Social media is single biggest polluter of the human mind ever in history. It's done more damage than mercury, lead paint and heroin combined. Look I'm not making this up there's been studies and reports on top of studies and reports confirming this. There's even been top executives from these companies that have come out and said how damaging it is. You can't blame Trump for all of it.

You might not know this I am a Marine combat veteran. Both my parents were Marines and I was born in Beaufort S.C. home of Marine Corps Recruit Training Depot Paris Island. I would return there at the age of 17 and I became a Marine before my 18th birthday. And, I know that I have a big military following on this show and you know I enjoy talking about the military news and the Marine Corps. It's something I'm proud of. I'm honored by the brotherhood. I proud of the heritage and I'm proud I did it.

But you know the Marine Corps has problems too. The difference is in how we deal with it. There were a couple of stories that broke recently one about Marine officers cheating on a land navigation test and another about a Marine Unit that got in some drunken trouble while they were deployed and the commander ended up getting relieved. That's Marine lingo for fired. Both these stories are interesting for different reasons but it's the Marine Corps response that's most telling.

It's not enough the country is divided now the church is being split by scandal. I don't know how much you have been following the stories but it's bad. Really bad. It's bad for everyone not just Catholics. Do realize how much damage has been done to faith in the church, faith in society and faith in God?

I have some questions about this. What do you call a church without morality? If there's no morality in the church where else will we find it? If children are abused who else is safe? If children are safe in the church where else can they be safe? Is justice a biblical principle? If there's no justice how can there be peace? What is Christianity without atonement? What is a world without Christianity?

You might disagree but this is a big deal. A very big deal. It's a threat to Christianity. It's a threat to peace and it's a threat to our civilization. And for all we know maybe the damage is done.

You might not agree with this but there's plenty of jobs now and there will be well into the future. This idea that jobs are vanishing is a myth!

How can I say that? If you read the news there's a robot take over and because of technology and automation we're losing jobs. And, I know if you're unemployed right now you're saying it's tough out there. It is tough out there. It always is. It's a different tough now and it will be a different tough tomorrow but that doesn't mean there won't be any jobs.

There's plenty of jobs. The simple fact is there are plenty of jobs right now and I can prove it. More people are working now than ever before in the history of this country. There's a record number of people working right now.

The people that push nothing but negative thinking will say, yeah there's jobs but they don't pay well. People say you can't get a good paying job. That's not true either and I can prove it. The treasury this year took in a record amount of taxes on personal income.

So to say there are no jobs or there aren't enough good paying jobs is a lie. It's a myth. It's a myth that's promoted by people that like to promote negativity and we all know bad news sells.

You might not agree with this but I believe the basic reason for the failure of liberal and progressive ideas is because of one thing and one thing only. Financial mis-management typically in the form of free money, sometimes called pensions.

I'm not saying pensions are bad so don't freak out. And this has nothing to do with democrat versus republican. As a matter of fact there's plenty of republicans JUST AS guilty of.

Let me tell you what happens. Government worker unions exercise incredible control over government. Whether it's state local and sometimes even entire countries. Or, it's just liberal policies that push an agenda to give away free money. Programs to help the poor they might say. Nothing wrong with that in of itself. But, when government makes contracts with unions or set's up programs to give away money and there's too much being given away everyone suffers.

I'll give you some examples: Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, San Francisco, parts of New York, Philadelphia, Oakland, Los Angeles, Memphis, Greece, Venezuela and Russia It's a very predictable pattern. You don't have to be a political scientist to see this. So my question is where are the fiscal conservatives?

You'll probably disagree but I say these midterm elections have turned into a complete JOKE. It's almost like we're going through the Trump campaign again except worse. That's all we hear, TRUMP, TRUMP, TRUMP.

Is Trump the king? How does one man have so much impact over a country? It's crazy?

So here we are heading into the midterm elections. I would think we'd be talking about policy, progress and solving problems. Instead all we're talking about is Trump. John McCain made sure he kept Trump the center of attention even after he was DEAD! That's how vile the Trump hatred is. People are writing it in their eulogies.

Do you remember that iconic Wendy's commercial from the 80's where the little old lady asks where's the beef? I want to bring back that little old lady and put her in front of congress. What the heck are our politicians doing for us? Besides bashing Trump and worshipping McCain what are they doing?

I don't care if your liberal or conservative can you honestly say our government is an efficient, well run operation that cares about the interests of the people? How can you?

You probably didn't know this but I jumped into this podcasting business on a whim. Boy did I get more than I bargained for. A lot more than I bargained for both in terms of the amount of work and the amount of reward. I never dreamed I would enjoy it this much. It's been a fantastic journey.

If you've been here with me since the beginning you're one of a very few people. In the early days when I first started I would get maybe 50 listens a show. I started with no platform, no training and no real equipment, but I believed in myself, I believed I could do it.

So this is show #314, 314 shows, 600,000 listens/ I built a website with over 400 blog posts. I recorded an audio book which is a funny story I'll have to tell you. I wrote a book Common Sense which is scheduled to be published mid-October. And, I have a very rough draft of a second book I'm working on, the book I really wanted to right in the first place but I got side tracked it's called Where's My Country Gone

You probably don't care but California just eliminated bail requirements for people arrested and accused of crimes. This is a new idea and a radical change from the way things have always been done.

My first question is why are the California Liberals always fighting so hard for criminals instead of working to protect the law abiding citizens? Doesn't that make you wonder?

I'll tell you why I think it's dangerous. Instead of bail amounts being set as a matter of law it gives almost complete discretion to the judges who tend to be liberal. The problem with that is two-fold. First, it gives a lot more discretion to judges to just let people walk away just like we saw in New Mexico where those terrorists were allowed to free. Second, it's ripe for abuse. Meaning the judge has the ability to keep somebody in jail who otherwise could be out on bail. So you can have situations where the judge is basically pre-determining somebody's guilt and keeping them locked up. You don't think that's ripe for abuse of all kinds? I think it's going to be a very interesting experiment and we'll see if it gets appealed to the  Supreme Court and if it survives that. My guess is that it will get appealed to Supreme Court and now you see why these Supreme Court nominations are so crucial.

How did this come about? What does this bill do? Who wants to abolish money bail and why? Who’s opposed?
