Entering HR via a development programme during his 7 years at Apple, Gary went on to lead the People agenda for David‘s Bridal, the No.1 US Bridalwear and fashion retailer when they began their U.K. expansion in 2014.

Following a global restructure in 2016, Gary found himself back in the the job market as a candidate in active search for the first time in his career. The experience lead to him finding his voice, and guest speaking on Candidate Experience, Employee Experience and the impact of Brexit on HR for DisruptHR London, Perkbox and Enviable Workplace.

Landing a role as sole HRBP at foodies favourite Wasabi April 2017, Gary lead engagement, recognition and Tech focuses. Spring 2018 saw Gary sought out by Europe’s largest Fashion Tech company Zalando, where he holds the position of Senior HRBP helping the company achieve its vison of creating the workplace of the future.

Gary is currently a judge for The Engagement Excellence Awards in conjunction with Reward Gateway and the event takes place in London on October 9th 2018.
