Trump and MAGA need a constant villain to keep the outrage machine running. First, it was immigrants, then teachers, then DEI. Now? Federal workers. In this episode, we break down how the latest attack on bureaucrats fits the same old playbook—scapegoating everyday people while the real elites get a free pass. From Marjorie Taylor Greene’s latest rant to Elon Musk’s federal purge fantasies, we expose the absurdity of blaming the guy processing your passport for America’s problems. Who’s next on the hit list? Tune in to find out.
"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary." — H.L. Mencken
Picture it: A sinister cabal of federal workers—milling around the break room, microwaving day-old lasagna, quietly siphoning away America’s soul.
Yes, friends, Trump and his merry band of grievance merchants have picked their new Public Enemy #1: Federal employees. You know, the folks who ensure airplanes don’t crash, food isn’t laced with arsenic, and the IRS doesn’t let billionaires pay zero in taxes (okay, they’re still working on that last one).
The MAGA Cycle of Villainy: A Quick Recap
In case you missed it, here’s how the Trump Playbook works:
* Pick a group to vilify (bonus points if they can’t easily defend themselves).
* Blame them for everything wrong in America.
* Fire them, ban them, or make their lives miserable.
* Wait for reality to collapse because, whoops, those people actually did something useful.
* Find a new villain. Repeat.
Past targets have included immigrants, Black activists, LGBTQ+ people, teachers, librarians, and the entire field of epidemiology. But with DEI initiatives gutted and “wokeness” now a stale talking point, the MAGA outrage machine needed fresh meat. Enter federal workers.
The Deep State Becomes the Deep DMV
Trumpworld has long painted federal employees as a shadowy "Deep State," secretly working against the will of the people. But now? The attack has broadened to include literally anyone with a government badge and a cubicle.
* Marjorie Taylor Greene just declared war on them, stating in a House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing that federal workers "don’t deserve" their paychecks. "Those are not real jobs producing federal revenue, by the way. They’re consuming taxpayer dollars. Those jobs are paid for by the American tax people, who work real jobs, earn real income, pay federal taxes and then pay these federal employees,” Greene ranted, as she herself enjoyed her taxpayer-funded salary.
* Elon Musk, in his new role as self-appointed bureaucratic overlord, is pushing for mass firings, framing basic job functions as proof of “government waste.”
* Steve Bannon & Co. are gleefully spinning conspiracy theories about how the Department of Agriculture is somehow the final boss of globalist tyranny.
Why This is (Obviously) Insane
* Federal employees are normal people, not Bond villains.
* The EPA scientist who tests your tap water isn’t plotting against freedom. Neither is the Social Security worker processing your grandma’s benefits.
* Firing government workers doesn’t make the government “efficient”—it makes it dysfunctional.
* Think airline safety, national security, food inspections. Now imagine those things run by unpaid interns and Musk's Grok.
* The real “elites” never get blamed.
* Wall Street, Big Pharma, billionaires dodging taxes? They’re doing just fine, while your cousin who works for the Department of the Interior is now a traitor for processing hiking permits too efficiently.
Who’s Next?
Once they’ve gutted the federal workforce, who’s left to blame? Small business owners? Auto mechanics? Baristas? At some point, MAGA voters might realize the real villains aren’t their neighbors but the people hoarding wealth while telling them to be mad at the mailman.
But until then, buckle up. The outrage train stops for no one—except Trump, of course, because someone has to run the grift.
