The Gates of Hell will not prevail against the Church. This is something we know to be true, but Missionary Nathan Harrod caused us to stop and examine what this statement truly reveals. Implied in this statement is the fact that the Church is on the offensive. Gates are a defense, and if the Gates of Hell won't prevail, what that actually means is that nothing can withstand the Church. Nothing can stop the Kingdom of God.
