For the last 28 years, David Garofalo has announced the Cigar of the Year. It’s the only Cigar of the Year that allows you to vote and have your voice heard. Seven Contenders were announced in November, and today we will announce the winner fo the 2019 Cigar of the Year .

But first we light up a cigar from The Cigar Authority Care Package. It comes from a line that won Cigar of the Year back in 2012. The Atabey Idolos features a top secret blend only known to a select few and it is made in Costa Rica.

In the second hour we light up The Cigar of the Year and tell you how the decision was made. We pull back the curtain and tell you what goes into the selection of Cigar of the Year as we look back at past winners.

We will also ask about breathalyzers and find out how you can get out of a ticket.. Dave will also ask Mike the 6 things you should never ask an officer of the law.

In the second hour we will look at our predictions for the #25, #11 and #1 cigar from Cigar Aficionado. How did we do? Did any of us even come close? We will do this while we light up a second cigar that has yet to be determined.

Tis the season to spread the wealth. This week the members of The Cigar Authority discuss the cigars they have been smoking and our selection might just inspire you on cigars to request or give for Christmas.
