The Cigar Pulpit

The guys fire up the newest offering from ATL Cigars, the Magic. Admittedly we didn't have much to discuss this episode but we did have a lot of fun answering questions in this week's Ask the Boys segment and telling a few jokes.

Oh yeah, and we discuss chicken and dumplings a bit...

We're more than a little slap happy today as we smoke the Cuba Libre from the October My Monthly Cigars box. We discuss William Shatner going into space on the Blue Origin, charcuterie boards and a class Nick recently took on making them, and other random thoughts.

We also list off our three cigars we've smoked and enjoyed this past week and get a Final Third Friday review from our man, Broccoli Rob.

Nick is catching a huge amount of grief from Gator and My Monthly Cigars owner Nick Gervais for rescheduling the opening of the October MMC box. We smoke the Caldwell Hit and Run Part Duex and discuss this unprecedented level of butthurt, while also discussing what movies and tv shows we've watched this past month, give an in-depth review of The Many Saints of Newark, and Gator tells us all about his dog eating gum.

We also kinda sorta (but not really) answer "listener" calls in this week's Ask the Boys and we even get a piece of bizarre cigar news.

We're honored to be joined by studio sponsor Justo Eiroa of JRE Tobacco Aladino Cigars and sales rep extraordinary Trey Mac at an event at The Rivermen Cigar Company. We sit down with Justo and Trey Mac and discuss their recent tour of the midwest, some new products from JRE, Gettysburg and Roman wipes, digital cigars, electric fences, and a whole lot more. We really sucked Justo into our vortex of ignorance...

We also discuss three cigars we've smoked and enjoyed this week and Gator kickstarts the beta version of his Dad Joke of the Week segment.

Were back and smoking the Partagas Cortado Robusto that Gator picked up in Kansas City. We discuss his experience at the Rolling Stones concert, tell a few jokes, Gator recommends a movie, and more.

We also answer listener questions in this week's Ask the Boys segment and have a message for a special parishioner.

We are back smoking a JFR Connecticut Super Toro from Aganorsa Leaf. In this episode we announce the winners of our segment contest and give a bit of insight as to why they were chosen, we discuss a few random thoughts from the Rivermen Festival and PulpitFest, and we learn a startling new detail about Gator's past life.

Also we cover three cigars we've smoked and enjoyed this week and get a Final Third Friday review of the Protocol Eliot Ness Maduro from Broccoli Rob.

We teamed up with Al from The Good Cigar to do a joint podcast from the second annual Rivermen Cigar Company Festival. We speak with a number of listeners, Dave from Martinez Cigars, and even Dan the Man Ponder!

No Ask the Boys this week due to the festivities but there's plenty of fun to be had in this episode, especially at Nick's expense since he wore the kilt to the event.

We’re smoking the final cigar out of the September My Monthly Cigars box, the Rocky Patel Imperial. Nick covers his recent trip to Memphis to meet Nick Perdomo, Gator calls his friend Dave for more Kansas shenanigans, and the guys review the entires in the segment contest.

We also discuss three cigars we’ve smoked and enjoyed this week and get a Final Third Friday review from Broccoli Rob.

We're joined by Luc, aka MySticks35mm on Instagram, for Listener Interaction Tuesday. Luc was kind enough to send us a few cigars from Vismark Cigars that we hadn't tried and smoked with us. We find out a bit about the cigar lifestyle in Canada, discuss Jeff's bidet situation, and a lot more.

We also answer listener questions for this week's Ask the Boys and we get in a fight with some cardboard tubes.

Nick is joined by Broccoli Rob as they smoke the Ashton VSG from the September My Monthly Cigars box.

We catch up with Broccoli a bit, discuss what goes into a cigar review, somehow talk briefly about golden showers, address some proposed new federal taxes on cigars, unveil a new idea for listeners to interact with us, and heat the birth announcement of a new cigar lounge!

We also discuss three cigars we smoked and enjoyed this week and get an update from the road from Gator.
