The Cavs season arrives just in time to rescue Matty & Patty from any Guardians related funk. And WHAT a start! The Cavs remain unbeaten and though it's early, Matty & Patty are ready to take a little credit for saying the roster needed a coaching change long before an overhaul was considered.

The 2024 Guardians Postseason is trying to kill us. Matty and Patty are back for an instant reaction podcast after witnessing whatever the hell that was. Left for dead after Judge and Stanton hit homeruns off the peerless Emmanuel Clase, the Guardians rise from the dead, down to their last strike in the bottom of the ninth with a prodigious 2-run blast from Big Christmas, followed by a walk-off blast from David Fry. Enjoy this one Cleveland, because another game is coming right up.

The Cavs were unceremoniously bum rushed out of the playoffs by a good not great Knicks team in just five games. At home, no less.

There are more questions than answers right now, so Matty & Patty take a few calls to figure out who to blame and where to go from here.

How should we feel about Cavs-Knicks being tied 1-1? Did JB Bickerstaff's Game 2 adjustments solve the Knicks, or will Thibs have a devastating countermove in Game 2? Does it come down to shooting? Will Okoro stay in the starting lineup... or the rotation?

One thing is clear, just two games in, the Knicks have not yet provided enough fuel for our sports hate, so we're going to have to expand our horizons at this point.
