#137: Karen Weekly, Co-Head Coach, Tennessee Softball, visits TCRS prior to the team's first Fall games. UT will celebrate its 20th year of softball in 2015.  This season, UT will be led by Cheyanne Tarango.  Tennessee opens its fall exhibition play on Sept. 20, hosting four games at Lee Stadium. #136: Beth Torina, Head Coach, LSU Softball, visits TCRS to talk about her outlook for the Fall as the Tigers begin to prepare for the 2014/2015 season.  LSU will be led this coming season by returners AJ Andrews and Baylee Corbello.  Last season LSU finished 38-24 while appearing in the NCAA Regional Round.  2014/2015 will be a special season for the Tigers as LSU will host the 2015 SEC Tournament May 6-9 at Tiger Park.  Coach Torina Twitter Tigers Facebook Tigers Twitter Tigers IG.

Episode 133: Fischer recently finished her season with Cal. Lutheran and is now prepairing for the selection process to make the US Women's National Team.  27 others will join Fischer, but only 17 total will make the squad.  2014 is a big year as Team USA will compete in the ISF Women's World Championship August 12-24 in the Netherlands. Episode 131: University of Texas Longhorns Assistant Coach Corrie Hill joins the show to talk about the art of hitting in the game of softball.  Coach Hill is known around the game as a true "hitting guru." Last season, the offense was a key reason for UT’s return to the WCWS. The Longhorns compiled the program’s third-highest batting average (.322) and on-base percentage (.407) while posting the fourth-best slugging percentage (.473). The squad’s 356 runs and 517 hits were both good for second on the Texas all-time charts. During the last three campaigns, UT has produced the three highest batting averages and on-base percentages in program history.
