Join Schep and Sanoe as they talk more about the experiences of a KLA lifeguard, in the second edition of the KLA series. These two talk about life on the island and what it takes to be a member of KLA.
Intro: Sanoe talks about how she got into KLA, her kids and the local pool, a community spot.

Join Schep as he sits down to talk with Chris Pico, a lifeguard for Kauai Lifeguard Association (KLA). They talk about equipment and training, as well as rescues and some pretty awful injuries. This is the first installment of a series that Schep is doing with KLA, so stay up to date as he interviews members from this awesome team.

They also dive into why it’s so important for the community that first responders and veterans are writing.
