That's right, hear directly from my sister, Chloe on her college experience and what she thinks current and prospective students should know. Get to know what the amazing instructor, Georgie at Body Therapeutic Architecture in Boca Raton Florida had to say about bombarding thoughts. She brings up a great point I never and realized is true. Those thoughts in your heading being like billboards, that can be overcome! You will accomplish your goals, just take it one step at a time. 

In this episode I dissect a quote I heard on an instagram post that could be looked at a few different ways, but ultimately it's to remind us all, this journey of going to college will be worth it. It's ok to want to change something, and figure out why you are really going to college, but it will all be worth it in the end!

This episode is all about disconnecting and being prepared to do so. You know there's that holiday you've been excited about or planning out with friends or family to meet up, even if it's literally only one day, well don't make the mistakes that I did and spend half the day doing a final or homework. This episode is all about preparing and enjoying that time. 

Ok so not like the final season of your fave Netflix show, but the dreaded finals season, the exams, as some call it. As much as we all hate them, they are very necessary and have been in the college/university setting for so long as a way for the profs to test that you've been paying attention all semester long. Follow this episode for how to prep, what's necessary and the resources I like to use. Let's ace those exams!

Everyone needs some alone time, we can all benefit from taking a minute to ourselves, and I help lay out some ways to do that in this episode. Remember to show yourself some patience and care, by doing what you love outside of the major you picked, outside of the test and homework, once the hw and studying is done of course. Don't run yourself into the ground by burnout, utilizing the tools I laid out here can really help. 

Meet my total Goal Getter friend and peer, Tate Vangellow. She's a recent graduate from NSU who has a heart of gold and is a serious inspiration. Having been a student during the pandemic where she couldn't even walk the stage to get diploma in hand, she's utilized countless skills to get to where she is today, and shown leadership is so many avenues. Take a listen for some seriously good advice. 

Remembering to keep your contact list open enough to add more people, friends, and mentors can help you get into that next job, that next club or organization and help you expand the horizons of who you can reach. Don't limit yourself to only the first 5 friends you make in college, this time is to learn and expand those contact lists, meet new people and see how when we come together to share info, we can make really cool collaborations, or even get our next job offer all because we were willing to ask for someone's phone number or email. 

So I'm still a student at the end of the day, working towards getting into grad school after all, but it's not always sunshines and rainbows. In this episode I get a little more transparent with what I'm going through in the moment. If you can dream it you can do it, you can be realistic but don't give up just because of a few failures.
