Columbia’s Hip-Hop Club introduces “The Bridge” a week-long celebration exploring Chicago’s dynamic hip-hop scene by connecting students and local talent and building bridges through beats in a week full of featured interactive events. 

This week on Three C’s: The college will present the Board of Trustees with the program overhaul on Monday, Dec. 16, Created to Achieve Success aims to help students with the cost of textbooks, and important dates to know for the end of the semester.

College to increase tuition by 5 percent, 10 percent for incoming students.

Registration for spring courses started this week in the midst of a major restructuring at the college. 

The advising office is still dealing with layoffs and resignations from the summer. 

Students did not report problems with getting into the system to register, which has plagued registration week in the past, as the Chronicle previously reported. Spring registration also was delayed because of curriculum changes.

But with additional changes at the college, including the reduction of the core requirements from 42 to 30 credits, students said they needed more advising help this time.
