The Comic Book Attic

It's an all Flash episode as I share my earliest memories of each of the Flashes. I also take a look at Flash #195 from 1970. (27:18) Vote for The Comic Book Attic in the Noisy Awards here: http://www.deliberatenoise.com/awards/

Just a quick update of where I've been. Also, some thoughts on some comics I no longer buy. Check out The Cinematic Attic. (10:17) The cover pic with this episode is of a comic book adaptation I bought recently. You could consider the clash between my two hobbies, as mentioned in the podcast, a clash of titans.

In this introductory Extra episode, I mention some recent buys, I am asked if "they still make comic books anymore," and I recommend a new podcast by a Comic Book Attic listener: Kirby Your Enthusiasm. (5:26) (Comic pictured is a recent dollar buy).

The Thanksgiving & Black Friday Comic Book Experience. (20:21) (Thinking about Black Friday brings new meaning to the title of the comic pictured here...)

It's time again for a look at a crazy old romance comic; this time, the issue is Love Experiences #9 from 1951. Also, some recent finds. (22:58)

In this episode, I take a look at Marvel's The Adventures of Quik Bunny. (9:57)

What I bought Nov. 17. (9:39) The accompanying cover shot is a "wheels" themed comic in my collection.

In this episode, I take a look at The Adventures of Kool-Aid Man #2 from Marvel Comics. (8:29)

In this episode, I talk about Nightveil #5 as well as recent finds and mail order goodies. There's also a Doc Savage addendum and a report of comic books sighted in a grocery store (in 2010! Not a dream! Not a hoax! Not an imaginary story!). (18:17)

What comics I bought for 9/15. New buying habits. (8:56) After reading some of them, here are a few grades: New Mutants #17: CIncredible Hulks: Enigma Force #1: CCaptain America: Patriot #1: A.
