Philippians 1:9-11 - Paul records beautiful prayers for the people of the churches he served. Much can be gleaned from these words. Today's message targets a key phrase that Paul used more than once. He would pray for people to be filled with the knowledge of God's will for their lives "so that" it would produce in them spiritual fruit.

Philippians 2:14-18 - Sometimes it seems like the whole world is unhappy and unsettled. Because of this, the person who is truly content in Christ can shine like a light in the dark. So what does true contentment look like, what can it accomplish, and how do we get it?

Philippians 2:12-13 - Everyone is becoming something. It's an inescapable reality. Human life is not static, but ever evolving. Thankfully, the bible tells us how to become exactly what we were made to be.

Philippians 2:5-11 - The Bible's claims about Jesus are not just that He's a great person or a meaningful addition to your life, but that He's the Lord of everything. For those who see Him as He truly is, nothing remains the same.

Philippians 2:1-4 - In a world that says "me first" the gospel leads us to say "you first."

Philippians 1:21-30 - What kind of change does Jesus produce in our lives? How should we look different after walking with Jesus for an extended period of time? Our passage answers these questions and shows us what it means to grow in "gospel maturity."

Philippians 1:12-21 - Most people live life at the mercy of their circumstances. When things are going good, they're up; and when things are bad they're down. The book of Philippians shows us a way to live lives of deep joy and contentment regardless of our circumstances.

Philippians 1:3-11 - Everyone would say that a church should be loving, but what does that really mean? What does it look like for a group of people with different backgrounds, opinions, and agendas to truly love one another?

Philippians 1:1-2; Hebrews 10:14; Ephesians 2:8-10 - The fundamental identity of a follower of Christ can be summed up in these two words: saint and servant. In the opening verses of the book of Philippians, we see not only who they were, but who we are too.

Acts 16:11-34 - The book of Philippians and the story of its original recipients are incredibly relevant for the church today. The church at Philippi was made up of people from radically different backgrounds who all had one thing in common: the gospel.
