Welcome back TNG! We had some weird weird weird audio issues with this one. It was like weird man. We're flirting with a new technology that allows us to record directly from skype and we're using the same technology to transmit directly to Ustream (Thanks to Trent and Tim W. for joining us!). Anyway at about the 36 minute mark we get caught in an energy transfer beam and then nothing is the same after that.

Abrams Star Trek movie from 2009 -- and you saw THAT movie and probably really really liked it!
Yes, we realize we already talked about this movie way back in podcast 30, but hey, who's complaining? Hey, despite the title of this one, we talked about a lot of hot chicks -- so many in fact that we didn't have room to discuss the episode with Famke Janssen. Overall, some pretty good eps this time around, with one that's not worth mentioning.
Don't you think Geordi would've gotten deja vu before Beverly? I mean, he's the one with the visor with the residual images. They needed Crusher to be a bit more useful, perhaps.

Wonderful. We probably would have gotten to a lot more, but hey we just had to talk about Avatar for a while (which will probably be on DVD by the time you actually listen).
