The Complete Works Podcast

It's been a long wait, but we're finally ready to unveil The Complete Works Season 3! Dedicated to exploring the filmography of Michelle Yeoh one movie at a time, the new season of the podcast will kick off on Monday, August 29th and be weekly from there. New logo, new theme song, new season - it's all finally happening!

A brief podcast update - we won't be reviewing THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER (aka THOR 4: MORE THORS featuring Gorr) on this podcast because, as it turns out, Jeff Goldblum's scene got cut from the final product! We will still be talking about the movie next week on Mike & Mike Go to the Movies (Subscribe right here!). In the meantime, we're hard at work on Season 3 of the podcast, preparing a new theme song, new logo, and a new name, and hoping to have it ready by late August. Get ready to talk Michelle Yeoh, and we'll rejoin Goldblum when he pops up in Wes Anderson's ASTEROID CITY.

This week, Mike and Mike dive back into the world according to Jeff Goldblum to talk Goldblum's reunion with Sam Neill and Laura Dern in the latest JURASSIC PARK movie, JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION! Did director Colin Trevorrow defy expectations to deliver a satisfying JURASSIC sequel? Is it fun to see the old gang back together, bouncing off of the new cast? Is the Giganatosaurus the new Joker? And, perhaps most importantly, do we have another RISE OF SKYWALKER on our hands?

The results are in, and in a landslide victory, Michelle Yeoh won the poll - which means she'll be the subject of The Complete Works Season 3! Mike and Mike break down the poll, look ahead at the new season, and explain what'll be going on for the show over the next couple of weeks.

The poll to determine who will be the subject of Season 3 is open until 5/30 at 12 PM Eastern Time! Go to @GoldblumPod to vote for your pick!

Make sure you head over to @goldblumpod on twitter and vote for who you would like us to cover on Season 3 of the Complete Works! Michelle Yeoh is currently in the lead with 40% of the votes, but who knows what will happen before the poll closes Monday 05/30.

Follow @GoldblumPod on Twitter and vote in our poll to determine who will be the subject of The Complete Works Season 3! Will it be Jamie Lee Curtis, Winona Ryder, Natalie Portman, or Michelle Yeoh? The polls close at at 12 PM Eastern Time on Monday, May 30th.

This week, Mike and Mike take a long exhale after their 3.5-hour Season 2 finale - but they still need to figure out who Season 3 is going to be about! We've whittled down a long list of names into four finalists - and you can find out who they are right here!

It's a bittersweet time on the podcast - this week is our last regular episode of the Jeff Goldblum season. Next week is our Grand Finale, but until then, we're breaking our own rules a little bit so we can talk about Goldblum's recurring role in the final season of SEARCH PARTY, which premiered on HBO Max earlier this year. This insane dark comedy series led us down some wild paths - and trust us, if you only watched the first episode or two, you'll never be able to guess where the show ends up. Jesper Society Forever!

This week, Mike and Mike are getting back in the Cage to talk about a movie that sort of feels like the culmination of everything this podcast has been building towards. Nicolas Cage is back (not that he went anywhere) in the new meta action-comedy THE UNBEARABLE WEIGHT OF MASSIVE TALENT, in which Cage plays a fictionalized version of himself who strikes up a friendship with a billionaire played by Pedro Pascal... and gets roped into some CIA antics along the way. There are tons of references to Cage's entire career in this one, so we're going to break them down right here. Also starring Tiffany Haddish, Ike Barinholtz, Neil Patrick Harris, Sharon Horgan, Lily Sheen, and more!
