The Complete Works Podcast

Jeff Goldblum is a serial killer who may or may not literally be the devil himself. First name Mister. Last name Frost.

Is this a secret HALLOWEEN sequel in disguise? Find out in our review of MISTER FROST!

Jeff Goldblum romances Emma Thompson in her film debut in this 1990 comedy written by Richard Curtis and directed by Mel Smith! Before Curtis was the filmmaker behind LOVE ACTUALLY and ABOUT TIME, he got his start with British comedies like BLACKADDER and MR. BEAN - and this movie sort of combines both styles. We're talking THE TALL GUY!

Goldblum gets in on the direct-to-video erotic thriller craze of the late '80s and early '90s with TWISTED OBSESSION, a Spanish-produced film set in France with American and British leads! Will Mike and Mike succumb to the Dream of the Mad Monkey?

We're entering the 1990s and returning to the realm of TV movies with this one! Oh wait, sorry, it's not TV... it's HBO. Jeff Goldblum and Kristen Scott Thomas star in the directorial debut of Dean Parisot (GALAXY QUEST, BILL AND TED FACE THE MUSIC) - it's a crime comedy heist movie about art forgery called FRAMED!

Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis reunite three years after THE FLY for a very different romance... and one of the weirdest 1980s fever dreams you'll ever have. Goldblum, Davis, Jim Carrey, Damon Wayans and more all star in Julie Brown and Julien Temple's EARTH GIRLS ARE EASY!

This week, we're talking a movie that bombed at the box office, holds a 10% on Rotten Tomatoes... and actually kind of rocks. Jeff Goldblum teams up with Cyndi Lauper for a paranormal comedy that shamelessly rips off Indiana Jones, Romancing the Stone, and Ghostbusters - it's VIBES!

Today we talk the fourth and final TV movie Goldblum starred in throughout the '80s - maybe you saw it during a biology class at some point! Find out why the conversation is a little one-sided as we talk Goldblum's role discovering DNA in 1987's LIFE STORY!

Jeff Goldblum reunited with his CALIFORNIA SPLIT and NASHVILLE director Robert Altman to play the lead role this time around, in a movie that... let's say, hasn't aged well, if it ever held up at all. Goldblum, Julie Hagerty, and Christopher Guest all star in BEYOND THERAPY!

Be afraid. Be very afraid... Jeff Goldblum stars in David Cronenberg's massive horror hit from 1986, THE FLY! Will Brundlefly find a cure? Will Geena Davis nearly steal the movie? Will there be cheeseburgers and monkeys? All these questions and more have been answered with one of Goldblum's most iconic roles!

Jeff Goldblum, Ed Begley Jr., Geena Davis, Michael Richards, and more come together for a zany horror-comedy that may or may not have been a money laundering scheme by the Dow Chemical Company. Seriously. This is TRANSYLVANIA 6-5000!
