So if villages don’t just happen, that means we have to create them. And that creates a problem - a BIG one (well, two big ones!). Making friends as an adult feels hard. AND...who has the TIME for friends between careers and kids? In this episode I’m sharing my tangible strategies for overcoming both of these hurdles - including the one email I sent that resulted in moving a group of acquaintances to the fierce friend zone in less than a year.
Real connection. That’s all any of us really want. We want to belong. We want to be seen. We want to know we matter. In fact, our life literally depends on it. Having moved several times, I’ve had to create my village from scratch over and over. And I’ve learned a thing or two along the way about how to cultivate real, authentic connections that are truly life-giving - if not life-saving! So in this episode, I’m sharing what I’ve learned and how I’d do it differently if I was starting all over (again!).
Pivot! Pivot! PIVOT! Favorite Friends episode anyone? The Corporate Mom Life is pivoting to the Connected Mom Life! And in this sneak peek, I’m sharing why…Plus, how you can expect things to look different and how they will look the same!

Making it all work can overwhelm us all. Especially when there’s so much going on at once; kid’s schedules, childcare, and dual careers where both parents are dialed into their work. In this episode we discuss how we keep our homes running (somewhat) efficiently, how we keep our kids cared for, offering our approaches to childcare and how we have made it work, as well as diving into how we maintain healthy and thriving marriages.
