In our examination of and our desire to increase in Quality Relationships, this week we will focus on the marriage relationship. Marriage is unique in that it displays the character of God to mankind. The love that is displayed in marriage reflects the love that God has for His Church. Join us as we search God’s Word for direction, not to just survive a marriage, but to thrive and Increase in Our Marriage Relationship.

We all have relationships during our time on Earth. Unfortunately, not every one of them turns out to be a good one. And some of our relationships even end up being really bad. Everyone would love to have only good relationships in life, but is that even possible?

The ultimate example of perfect love and the fear of the Lord working together is Jesus Christ. He warned us at every turn to fear God, not men, and He confirmed that in everything about his life, death, and resurrection. He spoke lovingly but frankly to all and didn't mince words when people needed to face their sin and repent. This Sunday, we will conclude our rediscovery of The Fear of the Lord.

There are many Christians who feel that the fear of the Lord is an old idea found in the Old Testament and is no longer relevant. However, the principle of fearing God is found in both the Old Testament and the New Testament. It's not only relevant for today, but the fear of the Lord is crucial to the proper spiritual growth for every believer. Join us this Sunday, as we discover our great need of The Fear of the Lord.

As we discovered during our New Year's Eve Service, 2015 is the Year of Increase. The word increase means to become or make greater in size, amount, intensity, or degree. This is what God's wants to do with you in this new year! This Sunday, Pastor TJ will introduce some areas in which God wants to increase you so that you will be blessed and so that you can be a blessing to others. The following Sundays, we will begin exploring these areas in depth. It's going to be your best year yet!

The word was given at our New Year's Eve Service that 2015 is the year of increase. However, in order to receive increase from God there are basic spiritual truths that must be followed. One of those truths is fasting. Even though Jesus spoke often of fasting and even fasted Himself, it's one of the least talked about disciplines in the church at large. Many people believe that fasting is just for religious fanatics, for the pastor, or monks living in the mountains somewhere, but this is not true. Fasting is for everyone, and this Sunday we'll learn that we can all Increase Through Fasting!

A short, but special, word for the new year.

In the parable of the lost sheep in Luke 15, Jesus shared this parable: "Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn't he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?" If you found yourself in the same situation, what would you do? We'll begin by exploring the account of the shepherds who were visited by an angel proclaiming the good news, and then focus on the wise men and their significance to the Christmas story.
