The 5 characteristics of a servant of God.

Joshua 24:15 says, "...as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." This Sunday, we will talk about the type of service that is pleasing to God, brings Him glory, and makes Him look supremely valuable in the eyes of those around us.

God has called each of us to Serve Him. Service is not just about doing good things; it is about doing good things for the Lord. However, in all of our doing, we must make sure that our service is acceptable to God. This Sunday, Pastor TJ will begin discussing what it means to acceptably serve God.

For the past two Sundays, we have been exploring what it means to be a true worshiper in our hearts and attitudes. But what does that look like on Sunday or in our day to day life? This Sunday, we will discover how the Bible instructs us to live and act in praise and worship of our God.

This Sunday, we will go deeper into what it means to be a true worshiper who worships God in Spirit & Truth.

If Christianity is the transformation of rebels into worshipers of God, then it is imperative for Christians to know and understand what constitutes biblical worship. This Sunday, we will begin a brand new sermon series, Spirit & Truth.

True biblical happiness is independent of our circumstances, and it is not based on what others around us do or don't do. This Sunday, we will finish up the ten things happy people don't believe, and discover the truths of our acceptance, security, and significance in Christ.

A few weeks ago we began discovering how the Bible defines being blessed and redefining our beliefs about true happiness. This Sunday we will return to the Blessed series by finding out what happy people don't believe.

Every morning we wake, we have a day full of choices to make. The choices we make can affect us and those around us. However, many of those choices are difficult and have lasting effects. Beginning a right choice with the two words "I choose" can be harder than it may seem. This Sunday, Pastor Karrianne will share with us how to use the fruit of the Spirit to confidently make the best choice.

James 1:12 says, "Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial..." The word blessed in this verse means happy. However, happiness defined by our culture basically depends on good things happening. If things are going reasonably well, then we are happy. If things are not going so well, then we are not happy. But true happiness is not material, is not inherited, and is not based on circumstances. True happiness is based on a scriptural relationship with God. This Sunday, we will contiune to explore the "Seven Reasons Why You Should Be Happy Right Now."
