Growing our inner man as we connect with God's Word

Romans 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking,
but righteousness and peace and joy  in the Holy Spirit.

In the natural, food and water are essential to our physical well being, We're unable to function without the nutrients and nourishment that comes from food and water. In the spiritual,  righteousness, peace and joy are blessings whiich come only as a result of our relationship with the Holy Spirit
In this time and season of prayer and fasting, it's the perfect time to remember, the Word of God is a banquet set before us. As we deny our body for what it's cravings and what it most desires, we can feast on the Word of God

It is our desire that those who listen to these messages and those who cross the threshold of our church, leave with their bellies full, their water jugs and bread baskets filled to the brim as we continue to focus on the ultimate purpose of prayer and fasting is to draw closer to Jesus and develop faith in God and His Word

Let's look into the Word

2 CORINTHIANS 10:4  The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

Saint Augustine stated at one time, ”without God man cannot and without man God will not!” God has given us His Spirit and weapons of warfare  to help us live to our fullest potentials as Christians, as his children.

Prayer and fasting are the key weapons God has given us to help us achieve His plans, His will, and purposes in and through our lives and those weapons are only effective in as much as the Holy Spirit works within us

The power that makes the Christian life possible is the Holy Spirit

Joshua 3:4 "...for you have not passed this way before.”

For millions of people believers and unbelievers alike, New Years symbolizes and represents change, growth, new challenges, and renewed commitments. New Years represents a reconfirmed commitment to pursue the goals, plans and purposes of our lives however, the key most important factor to  achieving  the hopes of our New Years resolution is the presence and power of God

Only with God in our midst, will we crossover into the new, not by our power, might or strength but by standing on the promises of God, in Christ Jesus, through the power and the anointing of the Holy Spirit!

The Son of man is the child that was born, The Son of God is the Child that was given!
This is the true purpose and the meaning of Christmas which has been obscured by all the rituals and traditions surrounding it.
The  world is in a mess and in need of saving. The solutions to our problems that we come up with, only create more problems. The governments and the leaders we elect to solve problems always lead to corruption.
God's solution, A Savior, A King, The Seed of the Woman, He promised to crush the head of the serpent and restore The Kingdom of Heaven on earth. Merry Christmas and thank you Lord Jesus that you came to restore what Adam lost

Luke 2:25 Now there was a man in Jerusalem named Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.

Just believe God, Learn to wait on God, be committed to what God has promised you because God cannot fail, He will never leave you or forsake you.

ROMANS 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Before we received Christ into our heart we were in bondage to the law of sin and death, the Law of Moses, the Ten Commandments

In Christ you have been set free however, there are Spirit laws and those laws have benefits. Not following those laws won’t bring curses upon you but at the same time, not following those laws will keep you from enjoying the benefits and blessings of your new life in Christ.
Meditation is one of those laws so lets see what the Word of God has to say about it
