Since the holidays are coming up…I wanted to get into acts of selfless service…spreading love and lifting up others..
To help me with that I have invited on Elle Erickson aka The Booth Fairy!
Elle is doing something quite remarkable and inspiring that I think more people need to know about.
Stationed out of Ashville, NC she heads The Booth Fairy Project.
This project puts on a variety of activities from “Bliss Mobs”, trash clean up, and uplifting events in senior living facilities to spreading positive signs across your city, meaningful billboards with no ads, “loving heckling” on the street, and thrift store events with costumes, bubbles, DJs, comedy, tarot readers and much more!
I stumbled upon one of her events in Ashville a year and a half ago and was blown away by the intense wave of positive energy.
She slapped a “hello, my name is Viking” name tag on my chest while I picked “shitty advice” off of the menu, and then I ordered the “slow clap”….. and she had me step up on a platform while the entire venue proceeded to give me a slow clap standing ovation!
I was quite surprised at how much better I felt after receiving the slow clap…it was exhilarating and completely changed my mood.
There is also “staring contest”, “thumb wrestling”, “free compliments”, “gluten free hugs”, and plenty more on the menu…
In this show Elle goes in to depth about all of the beautiful gifts she offers to communities sharing many transformational stories of people touched by this work along the way.
And she tells us how she started doing this outstanding work for communities all across the county…
Where did this unique idea come from?
Where does her well-spring of good energy come from?
Can human kindness replace coffee as your daily source of energy?
What kind of difference can a little human connection have in your work day? For your community?
How can you sponsor the booth fairy to come to a city near you or create a chapter yourself?
Listen in to Find out the answers to all these questions and more
