This month I invited my good friend Juliee de la Terre to speak in preparation for the Earth Day Celebration this Thursday April 21st at the Commons from 5 to 8 PM.

In this show we briefly touch on some of what she will be sharing in this talk

Why do we continue to destroy our beautiful planet?

Because to me this planet, like our very own lives, is a gift from our creator.

We are a part of it. And it is a part of us.

If we aren’t honoring it then we aren’t honoring any of the countless other beings that inhabit it…including ourselves.

And we CERTAINLY aren’t honoring God.

I recently connected with the founder of my favorite media organization on the planet, Joe Martino, creator of “The Pulse”…(formerly known as “Collective Evolution”) to find out what actually happened in Ottawa during the Canadian Trucker Freedom Convoy.

I’ve been traveling in Arizona for the last couple of weeks and had the opportunity to reconnect with one of my favorite people and places here.

With Halloween being two weeks away and Scorpio on the horizon…I thought it was a great time to get into our collective darkness!

Or at least acknowledge it for a change!

Our shadow…the places within that we are scared to go…the strange twisted thoughts, desires, urges, and impulses that many of us are afraid to admit are real.

About a year ago I read a book titled…

“Existential Kink” by Carolyn Elliot

“Unmask Your Shadow. Embrace Your Power. A method for getting what you want by getting off on what you don’t.”

Since my friend and former Driftless resident, Laila Bernhardt, is a certified EK (Existential Kink) coach. Co-Hosts a new thriving podcast with the author of the book called “Sleep Over with Carolyn Elliott and Laila Bernhardt” and collaborates with her on multiple coaching ventures the newest being the “Sleep Over Mystery School”. I had to have her on to dissect this mind blowing teaching.

To me this is a ground breaking philosophy….it provides a HUGE missing piece to most new age-y law of attraction teachings….It gives you a place to put all the thoughts, behaviors, emotions, and mechanisms that we so often try to repress and act like they don’t even exist.

It answers the common question….If thoughts create reality then why am I not getting the things I want??

And moreover….why can’t I think the thoughts that I want!?

Is it possible that your reality is perfect the way it is?

And that you are unconsciously ordering most of what you are getting?

Could it be that somewhere…deep down in your psyche…in the places you haven’t allowed yourself to see or acknowledge…that you could actually like....in some weird twisted way……and even thrive off of some of the weird disfunction, disorder, and chaos that may exist in your life?

That may sound absolutely insane to you….make your angry….and if you are like “Kyle! How dare you say that I like that!”….then please…. if you can……open your mind a little….tune into the show…and just give it a shot :)

If nothing has worked in the past then what do you have to lose??

This information has the power to completely shift and transform your life.

This is about accepting yourself….. ALL of it!…not just the parts you think are good or worthy.

And then alchemize them….transform them…and be a much more powerful conscious creator of your reality!

I read an article the other day with the title…

“Friendship is the root of Freedom”

In this article it talks about how “Freedom” and “Friend” come from the same root word “fri” or “pri.”

What does that root word mean you ask??

To LOVE.

To be ‘free’ was not just to be unrestricted, but to be a friend among love ones.

“‘Friend’ and ‘free’ in English…come from the same Indo-European root, which conveys the idea of a shared power that grows. Being free and having ties was one and the same thing. I am free because I have ties, because I am linked to a reality greater than me.”

With this idea in mind I turned to my friend and libertarian brother, Joseph Eckland, who is WELL versed in all matters Freedom and Liberty.

Why is it today that Freedom seems to bring a sour taste to the mouths of some?

Wasn’t our country founded on such?

Today Freedom seems to conjure images of someone riding in the back of a pick up truck, chugging a beer and then firing a shot gun in the air yelling “Merica!”

While to each their own as long as they aren’t hurting anybody…I believe Freedom is much more powerful and goes a whole lot deeper than that.

Free Will is SACRED…a divine right we were all born with..…and allowing it to blossom in one another without stamping out its breath and its light provides the very foundation of any healthy society…

..Of any healthy life!

The ability to choose your own adventure!…the ability to make the bonds and ties that you seem fit for your life….that resonate with  you.

The ability to make a choice…and then face the consequences of that choice…be it good or bad…and adjust accordingly.

Is learning done in any other way??

There is something very scary and loving about allowing another to be the KING or QUEEN of their life…ESPECIALLY if you don’t agree with them.

It takes courage. It takes honor. It takes trust….to not attempt to control people in that way.

Then why do so many people today associate “Freedom” with “Selfishness”?

Today I seek to bust that myth and return FREEDOM to its rightful place amongst the most sacred of virtues of humanity.

But where does freedom stand when society is facing a threat?….you might ask…

Is it necessary for people to give up their freedom to seek protection in dark times?

Does this help?

What does history say about this matter?

Is it possible to be a responsible human being…protect yourself and others around you without sacrificing your ability to choose?

Where do governments stand in relation to Freedom?

Can Protecting and Honoring Freedom create a more healthy and caring society?

We think so :)

This month we zero in on a quite personal and vulnerable topic…

The experience was nothing short of life altering …..in a positive way…although it was definitely very challenging to complete in integrity.
