During his career, he has successfully raised over $200 million in venture capital from Sierra Ventures, Intel Capital, NTT (Japan), and others.
He also won over $300 million in intellectual property settlements against most of the world’s top software, hardware, and consumer electronics companies, including Microsoft, Samsung, and Sony.
Peter is a digital media pioneer and is known as “the father of the second screen”.
Peter has a Masters's in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers has judged Redford’s SmartPaper (AirPlay) invention as “one of the most important innovations for the new millennium”.

He was a Professor of Molecular and Cellular Biology at UC Davis for 23 years.
During his career, he authored 134 publications and 7 patents.
In 1995 he was elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
For more than twenty years he studied and researched cancer and in 2001 he left UC Davis and form BioElectroMed to develop a revolutionary and groundbreaking medical device called the EndoPulse to treat pancreatic cancer in a way nobody has done before.
In 2014 he co-founded a novel bioelectric medicine company Pulse Biosciences where he is in charge of research and development of medical devices that uses revolutionary technology for cancer treatment.
