Laurie Haspel Lipsey is the President & CEO of Haspel, LLC, a men’s clothing brand started by her great-grandfather in New Orleans in 1909. Laurie is also the Chairwoman & CEO of Lipsey’s, a wholesale firearms distributor and is the third generation in her family to own and operate both sides of the family businesses. Laurie grew up in Baton Rouge and attended Emory University in Atlanta. After working in sales and marketing for several years in Atlanta after she graduated, she moved back to Baton Rouge in 1993 to become the Credit Manager ofLipsey’s. In 1999 she became Chief Operating Officer; in 2002 she became the President of both companies. In 2010 she became the CEO.Laurie serves on several national boards including past chairwoman of the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW).
